Everybody's Gone to the Rapture
There are people here who can still appreciate walking sims like Firewatch, Edith Finch and even Gone Home occasionally but Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is definitely an underappreciated game among underappreciated walking sims.
Great story, great graphics, lots of good examples of environmental storytelling.
The only down side is the run speed which is abysmal without a mod.

I replay it at least once a year. My favorite Remedy game and one of my favorite games from last gen.

Happy that Remedy now owns the publishing rights to the IP again as of today. I have no idea what that means for the future of the series, but I fucking want AW2.

This. Most slept on game this year, even if it's just TLoU with motorcycles and 4 years too late. I fucking love it.

I was also very happy to see this but I think it mostly just means that AW will be back on the storefronts, and likely on Xbox Game Pass pretty soon.

I generally like story based walking simulators, but something about this one just didn't click with me. I dropped it an hour or two in because it failed to keep my interest.

sure, Remedy just needs to get around music licencing bullshit, but that could have been done at any time

it was boring and predictable as fuck. walk, shoot, walk, shoot till the end.

I didn't realize that it was MS that owned the rights, my bad. Well, I guess Remedy has more of an incentive to try and get that music licensing straightened out than MS ever had.

I'm just happy for Remedy, Sam Lake is a cool guy and they just got 2.5 mil cash, that must be nice.

Bought it on steam summer sale for like 2 euro and I was pretty ok with the game. Wouldnt give 10 euro for it, but for 2 euro it was a nice one.

During E3 when they revealed Blair Witch game, I actually legitimately got excited thinking it was an Alan Wake game, it looked like it belonged you know.
