online was novel in dark souls 1 when most players weren't good at the games yet and it was just people dicking around in invasions or beating bosses together that they couldn't do alone. now that everyone has fifteen souls games under their belts and "meta builds" "honor duels" and "summoning is cheating" are the common sentiment it's just stale

DS combat is100 times better than sekiros. The main reason I never replayed sekiro was because of the unsatisfying combat. Parrying people to death is no fun
