>at this point Ganondorf is literally a curse that resurrects X years trying to destroy everything
>THEN the events of 10000 years ago happen
I want the retards that say the hero 10k years ago was Ganondorf to defend this

Are hyrulians, dare I say it, niggers of nintendo??
I hate how Nintendo seemingly has no feeling of timescale
Do they realise how much shit happens in 10k years? The Fertile Crescent had just about reached the Neolithic 10k years ago
Yikes, even more confirmation, it says NO male gerudos have been born since the original Ganondorf. The hero 10000 ago was a hylian, not a fucking gerudo, you retards are officially wrong
Also
>mention of Nabooru and Ruto becoming sages
>Ganon reviving (not reincarnating, reviving) dozens times
>gerudo males not being born since Ocarina of Time era
This also confirms without a doubt BotW can't happen in the child timeline since the OoT sages never became sages in that one and Ganon actually died for good in TW and was reincarnated into a second male gerudo in Four Swords Adventures
No, they're a fantasy race in a fantasy setting
>needing high technology in the blessed lands of hyrule
Sasuga Yea Forums
the only thing more retarded than seriously discussing zelda lore in 2019 is seriously believing the retarded clusterfuck that is BotW has any relevance to the pre-established lore.
It is quite evident that this hunk of shit game was a fundamental reboot and intentional insult to the history of the franchise before it.
>it's completely a reboot, it doesn't follow pre-established lore except for keeping the sages from Ocarina, the Deku tree, the Temple of Time, the goddess Hylia reincarnating into a priestess princess, the hero wielding the holy sword inhabited by a female spirit and a dozens plot points more all of them on top of the premise of Ganon being different now explicitily because it has been dying and reviving a lot in the previous games!
I'm sorry you are a literal (and I mean LITERAL) retard.
>put facetious skin-deep, often irrational references to every other goddamned zelda game
>zero fucking intelligible or engaging story or plotpoints or reasoning both for its own unique elements much less the irrational references to other zelda games
>voice acting
>redesign of the hero
>hardcoded naming conventions to derve the retarded voiceacting - you never played "Link" in any prior zelda
>completely fucking alien and vacant game design lacking any real semblance to zelda games before it
Nintendo had an ultra retard moment and thought people hated zelda, so they confucked it, shit on its history and legacy iconography, then saod okay here's new zelda for the modern times.
And they did this when all anyone who actually played the zelda games were just asking for more of the same.
Also kill yourself you hellbound shitstain lmao
>The King of Hyrule orders the abolishment of technology
>All technology is buried
>No one digs it up (or rediscovers the physical principles of its operation) for ten thousand years
What is this, fucking 40K?
>it's a reboot because they put references to other games!
>it's a reboot because I don't like the story and how it's unconventional for the saga!
>it's a reboot because you can hear what characters say sometimes!
>it's a reboot because you can wear different clothes (even if the classic clothes are still in the game)!
>it's a reboot because you can't ignore the canon name the protagonist always had!
>it's a reboot because it plays different!
>it's a reboot just leave me alone I hate you!
Thanks for proving my point. Try again when you actually learn the meaning of "reboot"
>it's not a reboot cause I say so!
who the fuck are you?
Fuck off lmao.
It's not a reboot because it can't possibly be a reboot since it continues the story of past games you stupid ignorant
Yiga are fucking Sheikah?
Wtf they are such ass.
Literally mentioned in the game several times
I beat the entire thing and had no clue. Idfk how I missed that.
>is claimed to take place TEN MILLENIA after all prior zelda games
>"i-its related guise"
if it takes 10 years for you to die then i hope you realize when it happens that its related to your favor for this donkeyshit pile of failure game and your mongolism retardated cuntfaced attentionwhore seeking behaviour of trying to defend it from its due criticisms.
>-I-IT'S A REBOOT
>+It can't since it's a continuation of the story from previous games.
>-D-DOESN'T COUNT, TOO MUCH TIME
>Cado: "At one point, our technology was praised as the power of the gods...but eventually the people turned on it. Turned on us. Our creations came to be viewed as a threat to the Kingdom. The Sheikah became outcasts, forced into exile. Some, like us, chose to cast off our technological advances and strove to live normal lives. Others fostered a hatred toward the kingdom that shunned them. These sad souls swore their allegiance to Ganon. They now call themselves the Yiga Clan. Their sole mission is to eliminate all who stand against Ganon. Please, dear hero... be careful out there."
>also Cado: But after the Great Calamity and the king's death, the Sheikah tribe was split in two. Some became part of the dishonorable Yiga Clan..."
>Yiga Clan: uses as symbol the Sheikah eye but upside down

Are you sure you beat the entire thing?
the hero in the prophecy has red hair because he's using the best outfit: barbarian, obviously
I'm not one of the people who says that, but:
Why would there not be able to be another male Gerudo at some point who has the name "Ganondorf", for the same reason Zelda is always named Zelda (cultural tradition) who isn't a vessel for Demise/The Calamity/Old Ganon? That doesn't seem like too wild a hypothetical development.
As I understand it, the theory is that this new Ganondorf is still the bad guy because he sacrificed himself to absorb the Malice/Old Ganon into his own body. I don't think that's what they'll do, but there's nothing in the canon that prevents it. The REAL reason they won't do that s because they have specific story-telling conventions they prefer to use due to personal taste, and a Ganondorf redemption (even if it isn't the same Ganondorf) doesn't fit that.
video games timeline is for PUSSYYY!!
>Male Gerudo Leader
Yes because he's the hero
eiji aonuma should suicide
All the official zelda lore Nintendo has been pumping out since the timeline has been fucking awful. Literally all magic has been stripped away from this series. It's a safe sterile husk now like everything else Nintendo makes
Zelda should have no lore
It should be separate disjointed tales with some recurring themes
The entire timeline thing is totally retarded
>games are called "legend of zelda"
>essentially just a childrens story that gets retold a bit different now and then again
>retards want a "timeline" for god knows what reasons
>nintendo actually listens despite the games at best having lose connections to each other outside of 2 direct sequels
It's their own fault for listening ti autists.
what is this cringe botw nulore retelling
four sword appears quite often, It's not a long stretch to assume the games are somehow connected
Half the timeline's purpose is just "remember OOT? That game was great, wasn't it?"
Shit escalated in such a retarded way too. Like how the Hylian shield went from a generic shield that doesn't catch fire to THE LEGENDARY SHIELD OF THE LEGENDARY HERO THAT IS THE BEST SHIELD EVER
No, you are just retarded. The timeline has been around since Zelda 2, you are just too much of a brainlet contrarian to see how it's always been a part of the series before you were even born.
I like the fanmade timeline trees, but I don't really think they add anything to the games. If anything, getting an official position from Nintendo detracts from the autism magic.
It was a direct sequel. Nothing wrong with that.
Trying to establish some connection between unrelated games is where it gets silly.
Why does there need to be a connection between BotW and OOT? There's literally no fucking reason. All these tired, often quite reaching references to previous games only prevent the later games from having actually interesting stories that can stand on their own merits.
I remember there was huge fan debate whether the timeline was linear or split before Nintendo released the encyclopedia
>somehow connected
Well it's the same bloody story every time, innit?
It's just that it's not a linear connection, it's a cyclical one.
>still caring about timeline autism
That's going to be a "yikes" from me, user. Mind explaining how Rito are around if it's child timeline?
They ruined a good debate.
Umm sweetie, if there are no male gerudos since Ganondorf, who has long since assumed the form of Dark Beast Ganon, mind explaining how there is a male gerudo nu-Ganondorf sitting mummified underneath Hyrule Castle?
>worrying about someone's opinion about something you don't care about
It's been two years now and every single time anyone tries placing botw into any or the three timelines it is quickly rediscovered that this doesnt work because Nintendo put elements of all three timelines into the game at the same time. The message is clear: it doesnt matter. The game is so far into the future that the events of all three timelines ended up happening in all timelines anyway. Stop obsessing over it.
Who?
>Game 3
>Tony Hawk is defeated
The worst timeline bros
Yeah and ALttP was a prequel to the first game. LA was a direct sequel to ALttP. OoT was a prequel to ALttP, and so on. BotW not having connections to the other games would be against series tradition
The guy in the trailer
That text pretty much would confirm that it takes place in the Wind Waker timeline.
It also can't be the fallen hero because it says the hero defeated him and then Zelda and the sages sealed him. So it has to be the adult OoT timeline.
Because the book outright states this never happened in BotW's timeline
TP HD added Rito to a mural in the Temple of Time. Why do that at all if not to hint towards the next game they were working on?
>the hero
Except it says the only Ganondorf to ever exist in that world is the guy who "plotted to seize control of all of Hyrule and become the Great King of Evil" and was sealed by Nabooru and the other sages in Ocarina.
>if there are no male gerudos since Ganondorf who is BotW2-Ganondorf?
Fucking retard
Why make explicit reference to the fact that Hyrule was once swallowed by the seas if it's the child timeline?
Sweetie, by the time of BOTW (or the cycle prior to BOTW 10K years ago), Ganon has abandoned the form of Ganondorf in favor of being the Dark Beast Ganon. He wouldn't look like Ganondorf anymore. This is someone new.
That's a good thing, the further away from Zelda you get the better the game. Hopefully it keeps shitting on this trash series more so you can seethe
>timeline
Dude, all the shit you just posted is confirmation that BOTW doesn't take place in any of the timelines. It's so long after any of the other games that they are all myths and legends now. 10,000 years is more than enough time for anything to happen.
Can't be Wind Waker since the entire game takes place in the old Hyrule that was buried at the sea at the end of WW by the Triforce itself
>It also can't be the fallen hero because it says the hero defeated him and then Zelda and the sages sealed him
Not really, Ganon has been defeated by the hero and sealed by the sages in the fallen hero timeline too, it happened in ALbW and somehow between ALbW and the Oracles games too (since Ganon went from being death in Oracles to being alive but sealed by the sages in ALbW). They would need to confirm Ruto/Nabooru sealed him right after he was defeated by Link to confirm it's talking about OoT adult ending in that specific section
Breath of the Wild literally exists to unfuck timeline autism and you shits still argue about it.
>literally making shit up
Nothing says Ganon can't return to his Ganondorf form no matter what happens, specially since in BotW something really weird was done to him. He's Ganondorf and is the same gerudo male that appeared in OoT era, deal with it.
See Rito aren't exclusive to WW's timeline, also the very second Zelda game (AoL) already introduces weird bird-man that could be the ancestors of the rito.
>inb4 b-b-but korogs
Same as the rito, they exist outside WW. They just evolved that way in other timeline too.
I hope in BOTW2 they do something with Ganondorf to establish that he isn't Calamity Ganon. It'd really devalue the last game's climax to just have "Hey, I'm back, bitches."
I'd rather they say, like, Ganon was split between his Gerudo self and the hatred and malice; so while you've killed the Calamity, the body and mind of Ganondorf is still around, and isn't aware of the Calamity.
>>at this point Ganondorf is
Ganondorf != Ganon stop with this shit. Just ignore Ganondorf. Pretend like he doesn't exist. Would be preferable to people talking like they're synonymous.
>[the bad guy]'s human form and [the bad guy]'s monster form are different guys
Clearly they did the 10,000 years after all timelines so that they could have creative freedom to use any story, characters, items, locations and enemies from any of the other games, Aonuma and the team refuse to stick the game to any timeline because they're clearly focused on creating a good game and retards who only care about muh lore (which Miyamoto never even cared to begin with), all of this secrecy and references ingame to all three timelines are straight up telling you that it doesn't matter anymore and they're just freeballing it and doing what they feel like, which they should since they're trying to stray from the previous zelda formula, the story in BotW is pretty much self contained with new lore and anything else is just references, do you really think they're gonna make the timeline their top priority? They're not and despite telling you straight up in the game and interviews you still try to bring up the timeline bullshit
>official mats says that he lost control of his power and turned into Ganon
>"no-no he can always turn back!!"
And you accuse others of making shit up
Even if you can't have Ganondorf without Ganon, you can have Ganon without Ganondorf.
TP Ganondorf went from gerudo to zelda to weird pig to cosmic goo to Ganondorf again
Yes and that wasn't losing control. When you revive "ganon" you revive the pig monster. Who, by the time of botw, or even the cycle immediately before it, has degenerated into a mindless smoke demon. His human form has been abandoned.
>Can't be Wind Waker since the entire game takes place in the old Hyrule that was buried at the sea at the end of WW by the Triforce itself
There is the Great Deku Tree's plan to reviving Hyrule by planting trees on the islands which would somehow expand the landmass. That fits way too well with BotW's set up where the Koroks are now used to traveling and spreading seeds around all of Hyrule, also the references to an ancient sea everywhere.
>They would need to confirm Ruto/Nabooru sealed him right after he was defeated by Link to confirm it's talking about OoT adult ending in that specific section
The text outright talks about Ganondorf becoming Ganon though, which means that it'd be OoT.
Four Sword Adventure is out since Link isn't wielding the Master Sword there and Ganondorf wasn't the king of the gerudo there, but an expelled pariah.
Vah Medoh is named after Medli. WW happened prior to BOTW.
It's an IRL reference, in-universe we don't know the origin of Medo's name
gannondorf has never died so a new male cannot be born. he keeps getting sealed away/banished to shadow realm/turned to stone. as long as he exists though, his soul cant reincarnate as a new male gerudo
No you can't are you fucking retarded? Only two Ganons exist, one is OoT Ganondorf transformed with the power of the Triforce of Power and the other is a new Ganondorf who also transformed thanks to the trident of evil (FSA), all Ganons originate from Ganondorf
Except the pig monster and the gerudo dude are the same fucking character you literal retard, it doesn't matter in which form he revives, nothing says he can't switch back to Ganondorf, he just prefers the monster form
>has degenerated into a mindless smoke demon.
Only the one literally made out of malice, there's no reason to think the Ganondorf under the castle wouldn't be able to control himself if he went Ganon using his real body
>losing control and doing X means you can't revert the process
So Kratos can't go back to normal after unwillingly enter in Spartan Rage mode? Did Goku lost the ability to return to base after awake SS without even know it was a thing? No? Looks like you are still making shit up
>timeline autism
Breath of the Wild is the ∀ Gundam of the franchise, BotW2 is the G-Reco of the franchise. Problem solved, no need to overthink it linear time plebs.
>plating trees = more landmass
Are you okay user? Also
>conveniently ignoring stuff like the forgotten temple and the temple of time that proves without a doubt BotW takes place in the old Hyrule
>ancient sea
The world is filled with ancient seas, entire countries that exist now had seas covering them before, nothing says it's WW's sea and in fact TolZ already has a super duper ancient sea that isn't the Great Sea: the Lanayru Sea that already was dry by the time SS Link and Zelda created the kingdom of Hyrule
>The text outright talks about Ganondorf becoming Ganon though, which means that it'd be OoT.
The text explains Ganodorf's past without specify the time gap between the events, if covers Ganondorf's birth, when he tried to conquer Hyrule decades later, when he was stopped by a hero wielding the Master Sword and sealed by Zelda and the sages at least 7 years after and when became the Calamity thousands years after, there's no way to know if his defeat and sealing is supposed to happen in OoT or arround ALttP era
That's a stupid argument. Nobody doubts that Rudah and Rudania were named after in-universe lore. Don't just go saying "that doesnt count" because its inconvenient for you. They could have just named it Divine Beast Vah ADYFWUEFSLADH if they were just stringing random syllables together.
>gannondorf has never died
He is killed in WW and in TP
>Are you okay user? Also
I'm not the one claiming that, the Great Deku Tree says it in Wind Waker (in the Korok Tree sidequest, which is why I assume so many people seem to overlook that plot point.
>conveniently ignoring stuff like the forgotten temple and the temple of time that proves without a doubt BotW takes place in the old Hyrule
That's why I'm talking about the Great Deku Trees's plan to bring back Hyrule, not the new Hyrule from the Wind Waker spin-offs.
>the Lanayru Sea that already was dry by the time SS Link and Zelda created the kingdom of Hyrule
The Lanayru sea didn't cover basically all of Hyrule though. Whatever is the Ancient Sea referenced in Breath of the Wild it seemed to cover all of Hyrule considering how its salt fragments are everywhere.
It doesn't mention how long the gaps are, but trying to place a gap within what's clearly a description of OoT just makes no sense. Note that it outright says
>The only person standing in the way of his machinations was a young man with the soul of the hero who wielded the Master Sword. His plans, shattered, Ganondorf lost control, and his powers consumed him, transforming him into the Dark Beast Ganon. After begin defeated by the hero, he was sealed away by Princess Zelda and the other sages.
There's no space for a time gap there.
>-it's WW's timeline because the characters acknowledge Medli!
>+huh no that never happened
>-T-THAT'S A STUPID ARGUMENT
Yikes.
>Nobody doubts
Everyone can doubt if it's not confirmed. Ruta and Nabooris are confirmed, Medo and Rudania aren't. No character has ever acknowledged Medli, only the devs (who can acknowledge everything without change the timeline placement of BotW because: surprise, all the games exist in the real world!)
Oh and another thing that discards the adult timeline is that Ganondorf canonically gave up and stopped trying to conquer Hyrule and fight Link and Zelda according to the canon guides, it's the total opposite to what BotW Ganon does (keep resurrecting no matter what and try to destroy his enemies, like the Ganon from the fallen hero timeline does)
>Oh and another thing that discards the adult timeline is that Ganondorf canonically gave up and stopped trying to conquer Hyrule and fight Link and Zelda according to the canon guides
It doesn't talk about Ganondorf giving up as a character like you imply, it talks about how in the later portable threats they faced other enemies rather than Ganondorf.
>Hyrule Encyclopedia page 21: "In defeat, he was freed from his unceasing, demonic desire to obtain the Triforce, which had clung to him like a curse."
Hey look, you are wrong! Funny, huh? Ganondorf will never return in the adult timeline, he gives no fucks about the future of the world, only the second Ganondorf that was sealed with Vaati in the Four Sword in the child timeline and the (original) Ganondorf that keeps reviving in the fallen hero timeline do
Even if trees were able to make soil grow somehow that would just make the islands bigger, not bring old Hyrule back (which again it's supposed to be buried FOREVER after a wish made to the Triforce itself)
>Whatever is the Ancient Sea referenced in Breath of the Wild it seemed to cover all of Hyrule
Like I said that happens everywhere irl, sure it could be the Great Sea but it's far for a confirmation (and other stuff like the old Hyrule existing discard the possiblity)
>but trying to place a gap within what's clearly a description of OoT just makes no sense
Except it's impossible for that to be a description of OoT only. Read again, it covers
>Ganondorf's birth, which happens decades before OoT
>Ganondorf attack to Hyrule, actually from OoT
>one Ganondorf's multiple defeats (from an unkown era)
>Ganondorf's returns after being defeated (something that never happened in OoT because that was his first defeat, confirming the text refers to more than OoT)
>Ganondorf's transformation into the Calamity (pre-BotW era but long after any other game)
>then goes back to OoT (Nabooru sealing him)
>then goes back to BotW era (Urbosa and Riju's admiration for Nabooru)
>then moves again to the era after all previous games but before BotW again (the gerudo felt ashamed of being the race that gave birth to the infamous Calamity Ganon)
The text covers way more than OoT
>There's no space for a time gap there.
Yeah but the text you just posted is already ambiguous enough because we don't know if it's saying what stopped Ganon was the Hero of Time or other. "Ganon was about to win but the hero with the Master Sword and Zelda defeated him and imprisoned him with a seal made by the sages" could be OoT, ALbW or whatever happened between Oracles and ALbW
>At the end of Botw 2 Ganondorf soul finally die and in the Gerudo valley a new male Gerudo is born at the same time, ending with that curse
That would be great, but I'm not sure if Ganondorf Is dead or not in Botw
i like manlytears Link in this pic lmao
>retards want a "timeline" for god knows what reasons
No, see, here's where you are wrong. Zelda fans *already figured out the timeline* and the fan timeline *made sense*. Then when Nintendo got wind of people seeking a firmer timeline they made Skyward Sword and released the Historia, both of which completely fucked the fan timeline and also painted a new one which makes absolutely no sense, and everyone's been arguing ever since.
It's no coincidence that FSA, set after TP, is the only Zelda game to date which features a different Ganondorf than the one we know.
>Arbiter's Grounds from TP
>smack dab in the middle of the Gerudo desert
I mean if this doesn't spell it out to people...
remember before BOTW released and all we had was that art of Link looking at the horizon ripped straight out of NES Zelda, and its place in the "hero loses" timeline was obvious? I miss those days
Why would you type all of this when nintendo itself has already stated BOTW exists on the official timeline
I've seen people say that the line Zelda says in BOTW about him "giving up reincarnation" to turn into the malice blob was mistranslated. BOTW2 clearly shows us that thing we killed was not even Ganondorf, it was some evil spirit produced as a result of Zelda sealing the calamity inside Ganondorf 10.000 years ago.
don't forget that right after SS they first did the Historia, which was full of mistranslations and speculah by the english localizers (and like 50% of the tome was stuff about SS which nobody asked for), and then because Historia sucked so bad they shifted everyone's attention the Hyrule Encyclopedia
I hate to be that guy, but, sauce?
Provide proof of this reference. SS made mention of once being covered by a great sea in the desert region so anything in BotW could be a reference to that
Zelda of the Original Era (ten thousand years prior to BOTW) sealed the Calamity inside of one of her knights, a young Gerudo named Ganondorf (not clear if this was voluntary or a last resort) and trapped him deep in the bowels of Hyrule's catacombs, their kingdom's darkest secret. The spirit which gestated inside Dorf gathered Malice and then rose up to get back at Zelda 10k years later, just after the Hylians had unearthed the ancient Guardians (used to fight the original battle that ended with Dorf getting sealed up at the bottom of the catacombs), took control of the guardians, and then 'killed' the Hero with them, while Zelda managed to discover her holy power and sealed herself along with him in a state of 'perma-prayer' where she can hold back the spirit's influence from leaving the perimeter of the castle long enough for Link to recover
and now that current zelda and current Link, 10,100 years later, find the Big Secret of hyrule, which is that they sealed the monster in dorf under the castle, and he's pissed when they accidentally break the seal
You want a bottle and a diaper?
No, none of the fan timelines made sense. I know because I'd argue about this shit for fucking ever in 2008 and before, before I started coming here. The classic games never made sense going on either the child or adult timelines without assumed retcons and the Four Sword games were difficult to place because of the weird ALttP references in FSA.
Not this shit again
>none of the fan timelines made sense
yeah man i'm sure the zelda wiki just refused to acknowledge anything timeline-related in the historia for no reason at all.
>without assumed retcons
It was the Historia localizers that made assumptions the original didn't even have. I am fairly certain the original Historia in JP did not imply Link was the Hero's Shade in Twilight Princess, but it does in English
i mean in this case it clearly fucking is since Ganondorf is right fucking there in BOTW2, not dead, which means the monster you fought in BOTW1 was not Dorf, it was some spirit demon monster that grew and escaped his body to wreak havoc after thousands of years, and in BOTW2 you find the body that spirit came from.
Did... did you also post this exact comment about this exact image in a thread from fucking 2015?
>all this flipflopping and pretzels trying to make a timeline work while contradicting yourself and failing at a subject nintendo doesn't give a fuck about
It's great fun to watch!
Please, make more of a fool out of yourself cow!
>People still believe that Koume and Kotake's blatant lie about a male Gerudo being born every century is true Legend of Zelda canon, rather than a false myth that Ganon's worshippers sowed so that their demon lord would be welcomed as a king when summoned.
Have you guys ever replayed Ocarina of Time as an adult? There might be some things you were too stupid to notice or understand as a child.
>yeah man i'm sure the zelda wiki just refused to acknowledge anything timeline-related in the historia for no reason at all.
Zeldawiki.org? Yeah the timeline "theorists" there were always glorified fanfic writers, I can see why they'd ignore canon material.
>It was the Historia localizers that made assumptions the original didn't even have. I am fairly certain the original Historia in JP did not imply Link was the Hero's Shade in Twilight Princess, but it does in English
You would be wrong.
glitterberri.com
This was translated from the Japanese version, before it came out officially in English
So then it is official nintendo word of god that Link is the Hero's Shade?
>People still believe that Koume and Kotake's blatant lie about a male Gerudo being born every century is true Legend of Zelda canon
I'm no expert but I am fairly certain Nintendo has mentioned this being a fact in many other places that have nothing to do with Nabooru or the hags.
The Hero of Time is, yes. It seemed pretty obvious that TP alone was going for that, to me at least.
Trying to add this shit up into one cohesive timeline is stupid anyways, there are some games that are clearly connected and some that are not. The best you can do is divide it into a couple separate continuities, based on games that are similar thematically or have the same Link going on multiple adventures, with OoT being the only one referenced in multiple branches due to the time travel bullshit.
OoT (kid) < MM < TP
OoT (adult future) < WW < PH < ST
>OoT Link survives and is sent back in time
OoT (adult future) < ALTTP < Oracles < LA < ALBW < TFH < Z1 < Z2
>OoT Link is killed in the final battle
MC < FS < FSA
>Only branch with an entirely separate Ganondorf, who didn't chronologically originate from OoT
SS < random bullshit < BotW
>Hylia is present in lore
>Zelda is the reincarnation of Hylia
>Ganon is the result of Demise's curse
It's mentioned in FSA as well.
>Once every 100 years, a special child is born unto my people. That child is destined to be the mighty guardian of the Gerudo and the desert. But this child, its heart grew twisted with every passing year. The child became a man who hungered for power at any price.
Yes, and...? The intent of a lie is that people believe it.
However, there is no proof or evidence it's a lie. That would be unsubstantiated since nothing in the games points to that being the case. These games are also for children so something like that would be made obvious.
Ganon and Ganondorf are one and the same. The very darkness that consumed Calamity Ganon's body when it was a miasma cloud is the same coming from Ganondorf's body. He is using dark magic to send forth his will since his physical form can't move.
What's the point of even having a discussion if you're going to blatantly ignore shit the games themselves tell you and go
>WELL THEY'RE OBVIOUSLY LYING
I can theorize Link is goddamn Saddam Hussein, because the games don't tell me he isn't.
Why are you ignoring that the reason he is fucking there in the first place is because something was sealed inside him 10k years prior
The thing sealed in his body broke out and wreaked havoc, had nothing to do with the shriveled husk sealed under the castle. that's just what the spirit was sealed inside of.
>Ganon is the result of Demise's curse
Demise is actually just Ganon after Wind Waker. He has a wound in his head from Link stabbing him in the face.
It's an imperfect sealing job. They didn't put him away to a different plane of existence, they just froze his body. The thing inside his body IS him, his malice, his hate, his will. Ganondorf is conscious in that dead husk of a body and the stuff coming out of him is his only way to have his revenge on Hyrule
>The thing inside his body IS him, his malice, his hate, his will.

>Demise is actually just Ganon after Wind Waker
This is amazing bait.
The fact that it is COMING OUT OF HIM and the fact it looks the exact same as what Cloud Ganon was made of is your citation.
>The fact that it is COMING OUT OF HIM
..... because it was sealed inside of him by Ancient Zelda, it is a separate fucking thing you retard
>Ganon's power coming out of Ganondorf isn't Ganondorf
Okay, I guess you're right. You win.
>Ganon's power coming out of Ganondorf isn't Ganondorf
>[THING SEALED INSIDE SOME GUY NAMED GANONDORF THAT HAS A PIG THEME]'s power coming out of Ganondorf isn't Ganondorf
you are one dumb motherfucker
Ganondorf is literally his "I'm not Ganon guys, trust me" name you dingus. He can't move, so he does the only thing he can do, spread like a plague.
Think about it.
In the distant future after Wind Waker, the ocean gets drained. Either the gods do it, or hylians use advanced technology to do it, doesn't matter.
The islands stay above the old sea level, since they were never really part of the ocean floor in the first place and actually stayed floating with divine magic.
Old Hyrule is resettled, until someone eventually disturbs Ganon's containment sarcophagus and everything's fucked again.

What a grim existence to be this stupid. I feel for you, user.
