Tediore is fun but only with a few guns. Tediore shot guns are typically pretty shit. Shotguns have small mags and often shoot more than one shot per trigger pull so it just does not work well for their gimmick. Give me a tediore smg any day though, especially on axton jesus christ. its the only fun build on the guy

Just about everyone in the Borderlands universe as far as Pandora is concerned is a borderline unlikable sociopath, even the people who you're supposed to be rooting for. The reason people like Jack is because he can get away with it by being such a ridiculous sadist and narcissist to the point where it's funny, and he's the villain, therefore, even if the justification is weak, it's still a much better justification than:

>Ellie causing a massive violent gang war because "lol, Anthony Burch wrote me".
>Lilith allowing a cult to more or less run amok until people start getting sacrificed.
>Zed and Marcus being a typical amoral "doctor" and (((happy ammo merchant))), respectively.
>Brick running a bandit gang that likely is just as insane as everyone else who isn't in Sanctuary on Pandora.

Pretty much all of the main and secondary cast outside of Roland in 2 fits the bill. He's liked mainly because the actor playing him does such a perfect job, and ironically enough, some of the dialogue from side missions gives him more depth than the people who you are supposed to be protecting.

Jack's whole plan made no goddamn sense. Why send out invitations for potential Vault hunters to come to the planet? Why not starve out Sanctuary by blocking the one goddamn bridge they have? Why fire a single salvo every now and then instead of a constant bombardment? Why throw away your loyalist follower for some convoluted plan to infect Sanctuary when he proved he can raze these bandit towns to the fucking ground all by himself?

Nah man I tried leveling in UHVM with a normal kit. Loot found little to no legendaries. And it is like wading through wet concrete mixed with tar.
Sometimes enemies even outheal me while I am directly hosing them down.

Most of the Crimson Raiders got bodied in New Haven though. It's the bench team that survived and made it to sanctuary which is why they were focusing so heavily on the shield wall. Even if the remaining corpse of their once-feared group could still hold off Wilhelm in an all-out assault, why not try sabotage? Sanctuary is a mining vessel sitting on one of, if not the largest mining operation Dahl headed on the planet. Something anyone would know of if they had even a basic summary of Pandora's colonial history. An expansive cave with multiple openings to the surface, so why couldn't Wilhelm or even a group of engineers and bots get through there and ravage Sanctuary from the bottom up? I find it hard to believe crysalisks pose that much of a threat against aerial and armored transport.

Meanwhile Pandora is some assbackward rock out in the middle of nowhere and even after the Destroyer vault was found, immigration didn't seem change much if at all. He was inviting people who likely wouldn't have bothered with the planet otherwise and risking making things worse for himself which, surprise surprise is exactly what happened.

I'm finding myself liking Vladof more and more as I play. They're the only ones that make normal Assault Rifles in 2, and their Machine Pistols/Sniper Rifles are also very good. I'm worried about 3, they're trying to add an actual gimmick to them to match the others so now all their guns have attachments or some shit. I wish they would just remove all the gimmicks and go back to the system in 1 where I don't instantly sell 90% of all guns based entirely on who made it.

The problem with Borderlands' writing really comes down to a serious lack of "show, don't tell", both in the comedy bits and when things start to get serious. You never really get a real reason as to why certain characters act the way they do. It's like when everyone just claims that Ellie is just some good girl who didndonuffin, you just need to be body positive. Not once in the game does anybody outright insult her because of her weight, you're just told to accept it and shut up and listen. The same goes for the humor. Since everyone has the same style and tone of sardonic devil-may-care asshole in their dialogue, everyone from Sir Hammerlock, to Claptrap, to Tannis and beyond, it just sounds like if you put the worst episode of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia through a Marvel quip generator. Despite being seemingly different people with different backgrounds, motivations, aspirations, and dreams, they all have this same style of "quirky" ironic humor that wears thin over twenty hours of ECHO Logs, conversations, and actions that make them more one dimensional than they could be.

For a counter-example, as much as people may hate Tiny Tina, her DLC did a good job of filling her out as a character with her coming to terms with the death of Roland. It's the complete polar opposite of how the main game is written so despite the fact that you're still dealing with a thirteen year-old wigger, she comes of as a real person this time. I don't understand how someone like Burch could write all the inane dialogue that runs throughout the main game and then come out with something that's kinda good for a DLC.

Brick got kicked out of the Crimson Raiders for going full War on Terror on Hyperion. His motivations may be good, but he isn't going to win any awards for nicest person on Pandora, justified or not.

vladov is real good in the tps since that game is balanced more. Found a purple rarity assault rifle the absolutely carried me for 5 to 6 levels. It shred on everything.

For Rocket launchers and shotguns, even if no ammo left in the mag, reloading does about as much damage as a regular shot, and that damage is significant.
Basically instead of reloading you just firing a different kind of shot and then continue firing,. There are no downsides.

So I played through the series again with it being on ps+ and noticed the new dlc forgets about the end of pre-sequel. All the characters are in sanctuary when the AYYYLMAO shows up, but nothing is mentioned about it in the dlc and by the end of it sanctuary is destroyed.

Personally, I really liked TPS more than 2. Yeah, it's really dwarfed in content and length, but I think that it's a plus for the replayability, since a full playthrough doesn't drag on longer than it needs to story-wise. The Skill Trees are massively better and more fun in TPS, laser guns are pretty cool, and all the characters are extremely fun to play especially Claptrap and RhymesWithJimothy

pretty much my exact experience playing through it for the first time.

everything involving the writing and acting is just so bad. i had to mute all the dialog because it just wouldn't stop and everything is "wacky and zany cranked up to 11!!" that it immediately became irritating. Couldn't make it more than 5 minutes into the game without having to do it.

the gameplay itself isn't bad. i'd say it's actually pretty good. the guns themselves, at least early game, all suck so much though, they either feel really satisfying but have nothing in the way of damage output or mag capacity (so you're constantly forced to reload) or they're virtually limitless in reload speed, mag size, and capability but are impossible to actually hit anything with.

Corrosive Dahl Sniper is my go-to Krieg weapon for very quickly destroying buzzards when they're too far to axesplode. I only whip it out for that purpose so ammo never becomes an issue.

That line delivery was pure gold.
