pretty fun, but a little too short

This game looks cool but why does everyone say it’s unfinished? Is there at least more content or a sequel coming?

After chap.8 I thought shit was going to escalate but it kind of teetered off. Still a fun game though and it left me wanting more.

Katana zero out of 10

fun and short. I was satisfied with my purchase.

KINO

honestly I thought it's lenght was fine but it does end at a moment when you wouldn't think it would, merely because there are A LOT of things that the game doesn't answer, hopefully those updates the devs said they were going to work on develop on the story. I would even buy a dlc for more story, honestly.

what was his fucking problem?

He was badass enough to kill people who could see the future and it got to his head.

LIKE A FUCKING DISHRAG

There's literally a "To Be Continued" at the end with a bunch of foreshadowed events in the credits scroll.

Russian upbringing.

this. i beat it in like two sittings

he's FUCKING SUBHUMAN

Attached: 1540958146617.jpg (600x662, 46K)

>two
Haha what a noob. I did it in one.

i was TRYING to take my time.

wait a sec

from gamma zero's dossier, he is 22 during the game and was 15 when he served?

It was good, but honestly I was looking forward to a different Askiisoft game being released, so I hope he works on that (or cancels it) before a sequel to this game happens.
What are you guys even expecting the setup to be for the next game?

Might be a test tube super soldier

Pretty good, if you like being killed by off-screen rifle dudes that you have no possible way of avoiding or predicting. This is what kinda ruined Hotline Miami 2 as well, it's deaths that feel unfair and random.

Yeah, he was a child soldier
The guys at the bar call him out because he looks way too young to have actually served

with controller you can have a look further with the right stick

The bullets are all reactable in real time and you have slo-mo if youre reflexes are bad, there's no excuse for dying

I loved it but I desperately feel it needs more content. Hopefully it will get some soon.

tries too hard to copy hotline miami’s aesthetic

All this time i thought he was wearing a stupid blue helmet.

I'll tell you as soon as it gets released on PS4

>suck at vidya
>can't beat the first boss fight for the fucking life of me

Fantastic game, thought it was some kind of sequel to super time force ultra when first saw it, so the whole story was a pleasant surprise

Ive seen many people say that the game is rather short. How short are we talking about? How long did it take for you to get through it? Is there any replay value?

I think I want the other half of the $20 game I paid for. Excellent, but way too fuckin' short.

Delta NULL or was it Gamma? were all kidnapped as babies and given the time drug all the time which made them be so good at predicting the future.

It's like 6 hours if you're not bad, a little more if you are. You can try options you didn't take before in dialogue on replays, but they don't change much. Hard mode changes enemy placements in levels and there's a new enemy type. That's pretty much it, but I think he's still adding content.

It's only a few hours long but you do get access to secret keys which unlock bonus weapons which add a bit of replay value. Also there are technically 2 endings so you are encouraged to do at least 2 run-throughs

It took me four hours and I sneaked that one stage.

Beat it in 4 hours after I bought it yesterday evening. Another couple hours doing another playthrough to dig up secrets and mess around with alternate dialogue. Fun ride, and I've had it on my wishlist for literally 4 years, so no regrets. But free content updates would go a long way to rounding out the experience.

I don't like when you clear a floor and someone randomly kills you from off screen because they just somehow appeared.
It's bad design because it artificially increases game time with the concept of "dying is mandatory to proceed" and the reason it's bad is because there is nothing skill based about that idea. Sure you can react if you're expecting it, but you don't. I guarantee no one had a deathless run on their first playthrough.

The mine cart section was shit as well.

Amazing how indie games can be better than Triple A games

>"AAA" games
>skinner boxes designed by committee to rape your wallet and still costing $59.99 plus tip
>indie games
>designed by usually few people with a clear goal
>will still sometimes be skinner boxes anyway

KINO

i do wish it didnt end on a cliffhanger like that.... like even the achievement is called TO BE CONTINUED so i hope he adds more... cuz desu the gameplay is amazing.

Anyone else want more DRAGON gameplay?

Attached: 20190630053517_1.jpg (1763x992, 175K)

Ending was shit but everything else was great except that fake choice halfway through, felt like "just do this shit my way because why even give you a choice lmao" moment

nb4 the second half is playing The Dragon, and at the final battle you get to choose who to play as.

the dragon tape was some of the best gameplay ever. you could pull off some serious shit

An unfinished masterpiece.

I'm fucking calling it now that at the very end of the story, we find out that the entire game hasn't happend yet, and it's all just zero seeing the future after his very first injection of the drug when he's a child, and everything we play is just the tail end of him planning out and perfecting his plot to destroy the ones who did this to him. and as the screen fades out on him waking up after the very first injection, we see one last time: "yes, that should work"

desu pure kino is true

Attached: 20190630052751_1.jpg (1763x992, 178K)

I usually hate that stuff, but that sounds amazing

good lord this is so damn corny.

It's decent but it's yet another one-and-done indie game that I probably won't ever touch again.

holy shit dude

It would be nice if they followed up on the ending. Maybe rescue the little girl.

Cutest and funniest character. I'm in love.

Attached: hmmyep.jpg (2134x1318, 1.11M)

Good, but short. Looking forward to sequel.
I'd love it,

the perspective incoherence here is making my head hurt

Dude, didn't the game say she was in kindergarten or something? She's like 5.

No, I don't think she goes to school.

Hmm, that is pretty young I guess. Hopefully the sequel will take place two or three years later.

I might have just imagined the kindergarten thing, but she is "around 5".
