yup,
they sure don't make 'em like they used to
boomers who only play FS98 and RB3D are not allowed
not giving a shit what you think brat
thanks for the new sim recommendation though... never heard of RB3D
I picked up the Hornet in the sale but rather than learning it I keep just wanting to go back to screwing around in the Blackshark.
>$230
not spending a penny over $190
X-Plane sucks.
>not using the og
I've never used a Wingman I liked and I've tried several over the years. They always feel uneven and often a little jumpy.
I never had that problem with sidewinders or Thrustmaster.
*WHOOP WHOOP*
PULL UP
I liked the Madcatz Fly 5 at first although the stiff spring broke tension too sudden and unevenly.
The thing was built like shit though and basically disintegrated in my hands over time.
Gotta say playing this in December 1997 with a Force Feedback Pro in the store was a revelation to me. I've been hooked ever since.
>implying
youtube.com
based wags dabbing on combatfags too stupid to use a simulator
I can understand a messy approach and landing but what I don't get is all crashing on takeoff i see. How is that even possible? Are people actually flying with keyboard controls?
I've crashed while taxing before when turning too sharply.
Come to think of it I have crashed on takeoff when I tried going straight from a fast taxi to a full afterburner takeoff
But the F-5E during the sale. Awesome little plane.
It is. Great place to start and can hold up pretty well in a turn fight if you're careful.
I still can't figure or how to accurately stop dumb bonds with it. I'm lucky if I hit a target is I drop a full load rippled.
*Drop dumb bombs
It’s about setting proper altitude, velocity, and AoA on the gunsight I can’t do it either
Also the real joy of the F-5 is the roll rate when you have the limiter off.
SKYKING
TARGETING POD FOR THE HORNET WHEN
If I knew exactly how far to offset my approach and how fast to turn in for the dive I think I could improve a lot.
AND THE WORLD OF TOMORROW!!!
bump because some nigger is spamming the board
I general try to keep the offset at 45-ish degrees with a dive angle of 20 degrees
Will RAZBAM ever finish the Harrier?
Is IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad any good?
I loved 1946 back in the day.
If you’re okay with trading plane count with a somewhat more realistic experience yes.
gosh if only there was some sort of printed or electronic document that contained such information in handy tables which you could quickly read..........HHHHHHMMMMMMM
I can rarely get hits with Mk82's
46's plane count was one of it's biggest drawcards, but if BoS has my plainfus I can probably deal with it.
What are your planefus?
TB-3, A-20, Ju 87, bombers mostly.
>tfw the plane you love the most never makes it into any game ever.
Battle of Stalingrad has the Ju-87 while Battle of Kuban has the A-20.
No heavy bombers unfortunately.
Which is?
Neato, it looks like they're even doing some Tank Sim stuff in IL-2 as well which is rad, been hankering for a new WW2 tank sim.
F8U-3. I have a fondness for stuff that didn't quite make it. Super Crusader, XB-70, MBT-70, and the AH-56.
The interiors are phenomenal and they even have multicrew
I feel ya. Best we ever get is the YF-23 in Ace Combat games
Civil flight sims are better than combat flight sims (air quake). This is fact. Literally not a single /simg/ can go more than 20 posts without devolving into Falcon Vs. DCS shitflinging.
yawn
>YEAH ME NEED SHOOTY BANG BANG EXPLOSION ELSE NO FUN GAME
This is how you look to everyone else.
You will never be a fighter pilot, I will be getting a pilots license in the next couple of years.
yawn
Explosions make things more fun though.
