F-Zero doesn't need to be a thing with Mario Kart still around.
Earthbound legit finished with 3, there doesn't need to be more, it's a completed story.
Metroid Prime 4 is still being worked on.
Pikmin was a fun experiment that didn't need 3 games.
DK is fair but peaked way back on the SNES.
Wario Land series wasn't as good as you remember it being.

Imagine this if you will: as big as Nintendo is, they’re still to small to do what they’ve been doing and give us installments of all those other games that are of the quality and polish we expect. If those games were guaranteed sells then it’d be happening but they aren’t Mario and they aren’t Zelda so why take time and money away from Mario/Zelda to make a game that might maybe sell 2mil tops? I know I know Nintendo is all about the gamers and innovation and fun, but at the end of the day they’re a business and they’re fighting with one arm tied behind their back if you think about it. They really do handicap themselves with their stubbornness Japanese tradition crap and their E for everyone fun but underpowered nonsense. It’s honorable though and respectable.

The thing that bothers me about Fzero is Mario karts existence
They say they ran out of ideas and didn't know where else to go with Fzero
Yet they release a Mario kart game every generation that is no different than the last
If all you need are new characters and stages for a new game then I don't see why they can't continue Fzero either since that's all Mario kart ever gets
Anti grav wheels and gliders are not a selling point or a way of pushing the series forward it's basically a cosmetic way of progressing through the race but adds nothing to the gameplay that wasn't there already
