Atlus is releasing an expanded edition of P5 with additional content. Atlus has done this for the last two entries in the franchise. It's surprising that they aren't releasing it for Switch.

It isn't being released for the switch because the switch is an absolute joke piece of hardware. Why do you think SMT V is in development hell? Because the switch hardware isn't capable of providing a true realization of the developers' artistic vision. SMT is already a super niche series so there's no guarantee that putting it on switch would be a good idea economically. Might as well put it on the same console P5 is on, hence why they'll either cancel it or put it on PS4 :/
