What are you playing on your 3DS/Vita/Etc.?
Handheld Thread
Etrian Odyssey Nexus.
Dragon Quest 8, best DQ.
why isn't the next pokemon for 3ds? every mainline pokemon has always been for the handheld...
Finally finished Phoenix Wright Spirit of Justice and HOLY FUCK THAT WAS SO GOOD!!! Now to play the DLCs
switch is kinda a handheld. just pretend its a 3ds game, certainly looks on par with one
Dragon Quest 4 on my 3DS. Just finished Torneko's chapter, now on to the dancing queens.
Also playing Snatcher on my Vita via emulation, feels goodman.
Etrian Nexus, taking another break right now 'cause god damn there isn't a bucket of water colder than getting subclasses and then the first thing you do with it is go to another recycled shrine
the entire game is recycled. you should have known that going in, no?
On vita playing Hotshots golf
On my 2DS XL playing Mario golf
On my switch playing Turfmasters
What the fuck is happening to me? Why has nobody told me golf games were so fun before?
I mean the "shrines", one thing is going to a new dungeon that's recycled from another game but at least is new to that one game, another thing is going to those fucking eastern and southern and whatever shrines and they're all exactly the same. And to add insult to the injury the last shrine was the only labyrinth in the game up to now that reached 5 floors, will i really go through another 5 floors of the same shit?
Atelier Escha Plus on Vita. I found out that The Great Ace Attorney full translation is out because I'm a slowpoke and that has taken priority over my life right now.
> vita still having new games released for it
> 3ds has been entirely abandoned
One has a successor the other does not.
switch is successor to wii u, not the 3ds.
How do I get pirated DLC to work on 3ds games that do an online check like 7th Dragon or SMT4A?
It’s both. They wouldn’t end development on 3DS games without a successor. Nintendo has never done that before, making switch the logical successor.
Rune factory has always been a DS game for main series titles. 1-3 is on DS 4 is on 3DS and soon switch and 5 is coming to switch.
That’s just one example of 3DS being succeeded by switch. It’s also strongly implied the next etrian odyssey will be for switch too.
Install their .cia and turn on online the first time?
Love Live School Idol Paradise Vol.2 on my Vita, waiting for Miracle Girls Festival to get here.
Resident Evil DS on my 3DS
>3ds
Strange journey redux. I am 10 hours in and i am starting to feel the burn.
The game is not hard at all. Its just boring and repetitive.
>vita
Axiom verge. Pretty fun game except i fucking hate how the weapon can only point 8 directions due to the dpad.
How are you organizing the vita bubbles, genre, series, or by completion?
>Love Live School Idol Paradise Vol.2
Is it good?
It's loosely sorted together by developer/publisher and even more loosely by genre. But that's hard to do without a bunch of half empty bubbles so there's a lot of just lumping stuff together.
the ride never ends
been playing Ultra Sun, glad I got back into Pokemon, I got tired of hating it.
Replaying bits of Pushmo when I have small moments of downtime.
Replaying a lot of Ace Attorney.
Hacked recently so planing to play Great Ace Attorney and some DQ imports.
Wanting to get to Persona Q2 soon.
Virtua Racing for Switch.
It's meh. Kinda boring to be honest. Probably doesn't help the fact that I like IM@S songs more.
I'm just autistic and need to get the complete set.
Bros what does the future of handheld gaming have in store for us? Handheld have always been my favorite and now it seems like nintendo will have a monopoly since it doesn't seem like ps will come out with one after the Xperia, psp go, vita. I don't like the switch
>tfw too poor for handhelds
I got a N3DS and PSP for $150.
Playan Kirby Triple Deluxe and Daxter.
My 3DS is holding every single Nes, Snes, GB, GBC, GBA, NDS game and my PSP holds almost the entire PSX library.
