I think it's hard for western developers to get what makes a VN good. Also most people in the west who want to make VNs are talentless hacks who only care about making something they can self insert in than bringing a story to life with well developed characters.

KS wasn't even good. The demo was great, the final product was seriously disappointing.

Wrong. I enjoyed the game up until it became metashit. Game should of continued after Sayori's death and have the route split. The girls then become more mentally fucked up and depending on your choices, you'll instantly reach a bad end.
