Shin Godzilla was a massive departure from the general designs and it make him unique. Anime Ghidorah is also a radical departure from regular Ghidorah, that isn't. I could see the differences, but they aren't enough to distinguish it. The only things that can really call it unique are the gravity powers (i'm pretty sure no other Ghidorah can do that, correct me if i'm wrong), and the tips of his tail. I will give you the movement since it seems to be the most agile Ghidorah outside of some games. I could watch him do that jump over Godzilla's beam then glide for hours. I don't hate him, I just expected different

Toho is a big piece of shit when it comes to licensing. They REALLY wanted to use more monsters but just couldn't. KOTM artbook has fucking Gigan, Anguirus, Kamakuras, Kumonga, and fucking Gamera. Also we havn't seen nearly all of them and they are code names. Some could be retroactivley made into classic kaiju, but even then I like the new stuff. Not really,the oxygen destroyer scene has a very nuke like feeling and kinda proves tywins character right. The only pro nuke part is serizawa's sacrifice. But i think that was them being poetic with the character

Godzilla Saves the Earth for ps2. Many will say Melee, but StE has more monsters to play as and is more refined gameplay.

Godzilla vs Destroyah is the most kino one. Final wars is fucking nuts but amazing. I will throw in the 80's godzilla vs mechagodzilla, and godzilla 2000.

It’s one of those series that actually got better over time. Seeing Ultraman get cucked by Ultraseven is still the highlight of the series.

Is Tokyo SOS being better than Against Kiryu a concensus or something? Rewatched them both recently since i didn't remember much of them at all and aside from the soundtrack i liked Against more. I mean i guess SOS get some points for getting to the action early and it takes a majority of the running time but i liked the characters in Against more and the beatdown Kiryu does to Godzilla torwards the end was satisfying as fuck, the only thing missing was a headbutt when he grabbed his head

Anime Ghidorah was the absolute coolest Godzilla creature ever made, then it did absolutely nothing to Godzilla and died in one hit.

Technically, all Toho Ghidorah's can use Gravity Beams, its his breath weapon. It's why they can push kaiju around a bit, and even occasionally lift them off the ground.

Doing that would poison relations with Toho indefinitely. Far safer to at least have Godzilla slink into the ocean and hibernate.

Toho has final say with everything in the movies including scripts. If Godzilla loses, then Toho allowed it
