It's a fun mod. Thankfully you can easily disable his voiceovers and the enemy HP bars. And you can actually choose to play with classic settings instead, meaning original monsters, weapons, and no reloads. The people saying shit like, "It's better than original Doom!" are absolute retards though. It's a nice sidegrade, not a replacement. Also not being Brutal Doom itself, means it's mostly free of SgtAutism (I think/hope).

I played the original Doom and Doom 2 unmodified and I love Brutal Doom. I loved the weapons and brutality. The reload could get a bit annoying but you can always turn that off.
It inspires me to make a mod about sabotaging electrical grids and fuel lines in a multifactional civil war with AR15s and semi-auto .308 rifles.
Also I love how GZDoom works with Heretic and Hexen. I wonder if it works with Star Wars Dark Forces.
