The base game already had objectively the best roster of any smash game since it featured all of them. The fact that we have Hero, Joker, and Banjo confirmed as the shit on top of everything we already got plus two more we don't even know yet, this is just about the best smash roster there will ever be. How the fuck do they top the game where major players from nearly every big game company today? It's not like something of this scale is gonna happen again, at least not for another 20 years or so.

It is, but like nearly every Sega property that isn't Yakuza, Sega's done a fucking awful job of managing the Puyo Puyo series since around 2009.

Really really good. it's very close to a hypothetical roster chosen entirely by me, especially Hero. I guess the only real changes I'd make if I had full control is to have a few extra echo fighters like Blood Falcon, Shadow the Hedgehog, Protoman, and Kazuya and if I could choose the last 2 newcomers it would be Crash and Reimu. A lot of the characters are so extremely good and Hero is the most excited I think I have ever been for a newcomer. I wish the CSS was organized by series though. Once the roster is complete, I think i'll edit the roster in photoshop just so I can have a good looking css to look at.

I could go on for ages about the current state of Puyo, but the TL;DR is that SEGA started something really nice with Puyo Puyo Fever/Fever 2/15th, then in 2009 they completely scrapped that team for a new one that's driven the entire series into budget garbage hell with a shit mobage.

Personally I got used to navigating the CSS but the stage select is way worse. I don't think I'll ever be able to find the desired stage as quickly as I could in any of the other games.

It's not even difficulty navigating the CSS that I have a problem with. I just hate how arbitrarily sorted it is. It's just a clusterfuck of unrelated characters and it looks horrible.
