Atelier series

Just finished Totori, why is she the high impact sexual girl? Why is she so popular?

its because shes my neighbor Totori

Did you miss this scene? The meme comes from a description of this scene from the Australian ratings board, which took issue with how the drunk Tiffani forces herself on Filly and later Totori, calling it 'high impact sexual violence' because they saw the fade to black until the next morning and Totori not remembering what happened to her as a strong implication of rape. Yeah, it was completely ridiculous.

did the aussie ratings board actually play the whole game?

I did actually. 100% this game is a bitch

is this game cheap outside of Steam?
I have Sophie but i wanted Totori

As for why she's so popular, I can only speak for myself, but assuming it's not just due to her design/voice/whatever else otaku usually focus on, I fell in love with her because compared to other Atelier protagonists, you saw her struggle with a more serious situation and thus she felt more relatable, unlike, say, Rorona and Meruru who through their struggles never lost the aura of being cute girls doing cute things.

>unlocking a character ending means you can't unlock other endings for that playthrough
Ytho

Wait really? I can't save and reload to get all endings? Fuck
This pretty much. I expected Rorona 2.0. Was pleasantly surprised shes so blunt

>got all endings in Lulua in half an hour after the first one
There's got to be a middle ground.

Should I start playing the Atelier series or Blue Reflection

You're locked into the ending of the character with the highest friendship value at the end of the five years. There are guides that help you set things up so that you can get all endings in a single playthrough (usually on NG+ for convenience's sake), but it requires a lot of planning and keeping everything at the same friendship level close to the end of the game so that you can keep reloading a file from there, raise one character, see his/her ending and repeat for everyone.

It’s called Firis.
>have to do all the quests in a quest line to unlock each ending

I should have mentioned that I could see all endings in Lulua very quickly because grinding friendship for the characters who got left behind is extremely easy, and that also let me do their remaining events and quests very quickly. Does Firis require more work on this front? I haven't played Mysterious yet.

That scene was genuinely sad, top notch feel kino.

Yeah you generally have to defeat a boss for each person's ending.

Atelier is better than BR
Wait for a sale

Fuck thanks. Heard Totori is the hardest time management wise.

but its steam summer sale right now :(

I played Tototie's game first, what should I play next, Meruru or Rorona?

That was a mistake, you should've started with Rorona. Go Meruru -> Rorona now.

KT is the most jewish publisher ever, so yeah, good luck getting a good discount.

Will Atelier ever give us another Bara Dragon Man?
