Is God Eater 3 any good? Never played the previous ones.
I downloaded the demo, started character creating, and realized the game looks pretty good so I stopped. Don't want to spoil myself any further. Give me a review, Yea Forums

God Eater as a whole is just meh.
There's little feedback to all your actions.
The monsters are way too generic.
The plot is paper thin full of boring characters but for some reason the game pushes it at being important, way more than any other MH clone.
Hell i'd rather have something like Soul Sacrifice be resurrected, if i'm completely honest.
Just stick to MH for now.
Don't own a PS4 so no MH for me.

God Eater is 100 times better then it. Not that its hard, Dauntless is pretty shitty overall.

The shooting in these games was always shit, nerfing guns into irrelevancy was the best move they could have made

Not that user, but I personally don't give a single fuck for MHGU. Played it when it released on the 3DS as XX, and I fucking hated every minute of it. It was so fucking boring. World I enjoyed mainly because it wasn't just Tri again. World is a good base game for future MH games, like Tri was. I'm sure I'll get sick of the World style after so many games too, but right now its a breath of fresh air that I'm grateful for.
That being said its not my favorite MH game, just one I like.
I prefer 3U and 4U to XX, but i'll take XX over MHW, obviously.
MHW is truly a snorefest.

I disagree that MHW is more boring or worse then XX. World I had a good time playing alone or with friends, XX was a borefest for me playing solo, and with friends it didn't get any less boring.

Story feels week so far from what I played. Too many "how convenient" moments and you get quickly boosted from prison workforce to only hope in what seems like an instant. I really wish they kept with the prison workforce longer.

I put 100 hours in XX, about 75% of that was spent in X, which is the lowest I've ever put in an MH game. I put 225 in World and will put more in once Iceborne comes out on PC.
Don't go in expecting it to be anime monster hunter, because it plays really differently. Its a LOT faster paced. You'll probably ask yourself "are the missions supposed to only last for about 5 minutes?" and the answer is yes. You're supposed to finish every mission as quickly as possible.

and it has almost no games, I have been forcing myself to play Xenoblade Chronicles 2, but its so fucking bad. I'm starving for Switch games. I found out about this game while I was looking at the e-shop, and since it literally just came out I figured it would be a good time to ask Yea Forums about it.
