2 Has some kino quests, and great replayability, definitely yes, 1>2>3

Depends, I played all of 'em at release and enjoyed them all but considered 1 better than 3 until I replayed it, then realised how outdated it was... Same with 2, and I get similar feelings when re-playing Deus Ex. (Mods fix it which is good.)

Two is the worst in the trilogy. Linear as shit, janky, doesnt have the slavic vibe of 1/3 and looks like generic high fantasy shit. Alchemy is a joke and you press roll to win.

The only good thing is that depending on the choices a big chunk of the game is different. Worth playing once.

It's not good in terms of gameplay. But it's the most significant when it comes to plot

>generic high fantasy shit. Alchemy is a joke and you press roll to win
This is exactly w3 tho, just replace roll with dodge

W3 is colorful but the color palette and art style are still not too far from 1. 2 is just generic as fuck greens and yellows

Also forgot to add, QTEs out the ass. In 1 and 3 you also do actual witchering, 2 forces an otherwise neutral character into this boring as fuck political plot that you really cant care for.

Play the hardest difficulty.

3>1>2

2s story is good but the rest is kind of shit

2 sometimes feels like a slog and it is the worst in the trilogy but its still decently good.
3's expansions > 1 > 3 base game > 2

While i agree with the rest
>doesnt have the slavic vibe of 1/3 and looks like generic high fantasy shit
If anything, is the more unique of all three (1 wins in atmosphere) and brings the slavic vibe way better than the aim for realism in 3...make in it generic. Crazy talk man...

W2 has the worst combat in the series and this is coming from someone who mastered it and beat the game on dark mode. But the story and alchemy system are excellent. I liked it, but be prepared for the combat it really takes getting used too

Even if 2 worse than 1 and 3 its still a witcher game, which makes it aproximately ten times better than any other low effort rpg shit.

>dragons and trolls feature predominately while 1 and 3 have monsters more-so from actual slavic folklore
>more generic soundtrack
>Locations are: A castle, a shit-covered town which lacks the charm or memorability of shit-covered Vizima, a dwarf-town looking straight from DnD/a generic medieval army camp and a ruined magical city also straight from DnD.
>Focus is on politics rather then being a Witcher, hunting monsters and dealing with warped versions of fairy-tales and dark fantasy stories
Also every high-ranking soldier NPC has that same stupid armor.

You posted the same thread before

I only ever played 1 and 3, I highly doubt any game has a worse combat system than w1

Well rev up 2 then you are in for a surprise

>W1 combat is bad

Spotted the dumb zoomer

I did not.

click, click....... CLICK
the only game that came close was xc2 in terms of dogshit combat.

Holy shit that looks terrible

1 is jarring at first but it's quick to realize its just
>click wait a second click and repeat
2 has an actively annoying combat system.
