What's so good about Metroid ?
I honestly don't get the hype
>metroid series doesn't have a distinct style like kirby or M&L rpg
>games are about isolation
>none of the creatures or bosses are iconic
>hardly any of the tracks are memorable
What's so good about Sammus ?

i like to pick my nose
>none of the creatures or bosses are iconic

Answered your own question there. Very atmospheric, alien planets and lore to uncover as well.
>none of the creatures or bosses are iconic
Ridley, Mother Brain, Kraid... basically all the bosses that re-appear in every game.
>hardly any of the tracks are memorable
Theme song, Ridley theme, instruments used in every game per themed area. Tracks per level especially in Prime aren't exactly meant to be memorable maybe but contribute to the atmosphere.
Why did I respond to a bait post?
Stick with the prod
Prod with the prod
i remember more of the bosses from metroid games than from mario games.
I might as well start using coke
>metroid series doesn't have a distinct style
There is nothing on the market like the Prime games and 2D metroid doesn't have its own style only because every indie aped it
>Why did I respond to a bait post?
I don't think it's bait, I think OP is just stupid
>metroid series doesn't have a distinct style like kirby or M&L rpg
>games are about isolation
>none of the creatures or bosses are iconic
>hardly any of the tracks are memorable
How did you manage to make 4 distinct points that are all so fucking wrong? You stupid little fucking faggot, I oughta beat your fucking face in. Dumb little fucking faggot.
>Very atmospheric, alien planets and lore to uncover as well.
not really seems like aimless wandering and power up collecting
>Ridley, Mother Brain, Kraid.
maybe mother brain, kraid and ridely are generic kaijin
You have not even glanced at Metroid, because otherwise you'd know how false your claims are. I was watching someone else playing Super Metroid and I have a pretty good memory of the bosses and songs just from that game alone.
A guy I knew thought Metroid was shit because Halo did the same thing 10 times better.
I'd happily trade All of the upcoming metroid games for a new F-Zero.
Nothing, Metroid is awful. It’s just that the games are piss easy and Metroidfags are incapable of playing any game where they die because they find it “frustrating”.
I'm pretty sure prime 2 is in the top 5 of most difficult nintendo games
I played through super metroid, it was underwhelming truth be told
>How did you manage to make 4 distinct points that are all so fucking wrong?
tell me of the distinct style of metroid?
>none of the creatures or bosses are iconic
All of the bosses are kaijin villians we have seen a million times
>games are about isolation
Only three things in the game don't want to kill you
>hardly any of the tracks are memorable

I mean common dude
blatant bait
Fusion is pretty difficult too, and even Samus Returns has some parts where it's really easy to die like the Diggernaut chase.
...the fuck? This is possible? I didn't know you could wall-jump and still keep your Shinespark charge.
Speed Booster and Shinesparking in a true 3D Metroid game when?
>Fusion is pretty difficult too
no it isn't. Compared to super sure, but the game itself isn't difficult if you don't play like an idiot since contact damage was increased a lot
>SR
SR is easy as shit because every boss has like 6 moves all of which are telegraphed/patterned so once you see them it's easy to not get hit a single time. Dying at the diggernaut boss is due to the lack of a diagonal lock and wonky circle pad precision for the grappling hook parts
that kirby shit is pleb tier compared to prime's soundtracks. Mario is great though
never, nintendo doesn't have the funds and dev power to make risky-ish third person AAA games, which is what metroid would have to be if it was third person and had fast paced platforming
>doesnt have distinct style
LOVING every laugh
