dont just have personas that deal elemental damage. have personas that also focus on healing, buffing and physical stats.
funny you would post the doctor since she will sell you trickets that will recover your SP which is very useful so rank up her SL.
focus leveling up your parties SL since by the end, they get their super personas that are very useful.
there is a easy way to gain money by farming bosses in mementos by confusing them and making them drop money. look up videos on youtube how to best do it. answer every question on the school right to gain extra social stats.

don't follow any guide don't go on threads here until you are done. max out the fortune teller ASAP and use her ability. but honestly you don't need any help to max all the S. links in 5 it is super easy to do first playthrough blind.

1) Focus on Physical skills rather than Magic damage, it's more reliable
2) Don't bother with guns. Ever
3) You should fuse often and visit the Velvet Room each time you gain two or three levels to see what you can do. Don't try to stick with a specific Persona, you are meant to fuse them
4) There is a way to tell if a Confidant is about to level up by checking you map. If they are not levelling up, don't bother with them and do another one. If nobody is levelling up, then it's time for stat boosting, Palace exploring or Mementos sidequests
