It's always possible that they might not be sticking with him for 7 games like Kiryu. They might do 2-3 games with Ichiban and then introduce another guy. Of course, they could even go back to the multiple protags of 4 and 5.

100% completion isn't necessary. You gotta finish the real estate/cabaret minigames to get each character's Legend style, but you should be able to beat the final bosses without. Kiryu's Dragon of Dojima style is pretty fun though honestly.

Im on the first fight with kaze and I fucking hate this game

>as if determined by rng sometimes when you are about to finish a combo he will break the combo and proceed to stun lock you into a series of his before knocking you on your ass and taking 1/6th of your health
>lol his light attacks will stunlock you
>lol sometimes when you get behind him and attack it will stun, but other times it will cause him to instantly 180 and stun you leading yet again into that series of stunlocks ending with him kicking you while you're on your ass
>lol now it's phase two and your only means of getting any dmg in without rolling the "will I get stunlocked" dice is to just run around and occasionally bait out a heavy from him before getting in TWO light hits and running because if you try to go for a third he will stunlock you

Playing 1 and later 0 i realized its the only flaw of this franchise, there's no healing item cap for missions or even obejective to incentivize the reduction in healing item usage, and thus the way they make the game harder is by increasing enemy health and damage, arena matches seem well done though

Akiyama's great but it feels like the writers dunno what to do with him, his main plot wrapped up nicely in 4. Ichiban seems like he'll be closer in personality to Akiyama than Kiryu for what it's worth though.

Of course but at one point enemies hit really hard, you should be able to heal or some margin for error, imo a good way could be setting before esch mission a challenge that gives you a reward if you do the mission like devs want, ie "use 2 staminan xx at most", "perform 5 different heat attacks", maybe im wrong who knows
