Beat me to it.
This man wins, Oh Great Satan.
There is no contest, the story of Adam Jensen taking over a golf course told only through regional boxart will never topped.
The bestest
My dream is becoming a reality.
Chad reporting.
Strictly speaking that's an ad and the box art is boring, but the ad's pretty great.
Who /surrealist nightmare/ here?
is that the fucking flatwoods monster
what happened to the kawaii girls from the first two covers
A flawless classic
the mockup for the Switch physical release also looks good
the swamp consumes all in time
Yes, Japs seem to love putting the awful fucking thing in games. It's in Majora's Mask and some other stuff too.
The weirdest part might be the European cover adding more characters in the background, as if the characters in the background are what's going to really push the game.
Post a better boxart.
You can't.
Not the best pic but the flatwoods monster is a recurring enemy in Wild Arms games too.
I'm quite surprised there's no threads about the remake that's coming out next year but instead we get Cybertranny 2077 threads where people bitch about everything
It has gotten pretty quiet around both the System Shock Remake and System Shock 3.
stand aside
you seem to have confused this thread with a trash bin
here you go, satan
fuck off, this is shit
When even the box art is lazy, you know the game will just be irremedable garbage.
That's fucking sad if you ask me. A game that has been stuck in development hell since 2013ish gets more attention than a remake/sequel to an old and beloved game series that's more cyberpunk than the former.
>-ish
Fuck I forgot to remove that
look whos making it, the geniouses behind Underworld Ascendant. I know Im hyped after they made that pile of shit. Hyped for the dumster fire threads that is.
Just searched about it. Holy fuck was the score low for that one! I see now why people won't talk about it. It's a shame that the IP gets handed to a bunch of shitty, incapable devs. Why can't we just get ports of the 2 OG games over to consoles?
Because PC games require more than 10 input buttons.
Love the mid-90s sci-fi asthetic way more than the "dude, le 80s with neon lights and synthwave".
Maybe it's something about the janky 3d, like Mind's Eye or the first season of Reboot.
To be fair the design works for Wipeout were done by the Designer's Republic, who have been perfecting that aesthetic since the mid 80s.
>cyberpunk theme is now leddit
>but not fucking lovecraft "DUDE TENTACLES I'M GOING INSAAAANE"
Explain this.
Wait where did the lovecraft come from.
I also vastly prefer the electronic music from the 90s. The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Future Sound of London, Orbital, Underworld, Autechre, Aphex Twin etc etc. Music with lots of breaks, samples, ambience and interesting and weird elements. These have stood the test of time way better that 80s synth imo.
Stupid insecure Americans.
Based, although I enjoy both and I'd argue the good stuff like Kraftwerk holds up and is all the more impressive when you understand the work they did to achieve that sound back then.
Since leddit loves lovecraft.
>the three stakes in the third cover mark the graves of the characters from the first cover
NAY
WE ARE BUT MEN
ROCK
And that's that.
leddit also loves 90% of the games Yea Forums loves
Jean Giraud. That is all.
only Yea Forumseddit will argue
leddit browses Yea Forums
I raise you a Syd Mead.
shit was great
the music was 10/10
This is the correct answer.
Chill out, devil man.
>you now realize doom guy isn't casting a spell with his left hand, but its the demon behind him
now THIS is soulless
That's my favorite too. This one's cool as well, but if... has the best one.
THIS IS Jeopardy!
the art itself looks kinda... bad... it's got that vibe that cg anime characters have
The art is great, I love that artstyle.
Nigga wtf did you just say
based retard
>Doomguy only has one gun
>US boxart
Yikes!
wtf is that supposed to be
based and moiety-pilled
North american ico
I unironically like this cover art. It makes me think of a setting where the old geezer is telling stories of old space wars to his grand kids under starry nightskies.
Its simple, but I really liked it
kinda summarises my feeling on the game too
>Unique Artstyle that looks cool
>Accurately depicts the games' art style and aesthetic as well as gives the right expectations on the kind of game it's going to be
>Shows the relationships between the characters well and their place in the world
>Right choice of colour so while the box logo is noticeable, it matches the colour scheme and isn't outlandishly noticable as opposed to other games covers that are held back by the system logo on the front.
Sure some boxart is really neat and well done. Guitaroo Man is one of the few games where I saw the cover and the game I played felt like the way the boxart looked.
japanese Ico
The Prince of Persia one always got me
they're great but this has always been my favorite.
Man, I almost forgot about this game. I had a highschool teacher who was obsessed with the original one.
Oh fuck I forgot I had this.
All I remember is a robo spider you fought down an endless tunnel.
Game?
