There's not a lot of voice acting in ARR, only the most important scenes are voiced.
You get more of these the further you go on until SHB where basically every MSQ cutscene is voiced.

I get that he's got more military history in his world than Zenos did in Eorzea but it's still weird to me how he single handedly destroys you and the scions without breaking a sweat. It makes sense when I think about it but I really needed more build up to that.

People were saying SMN was heading in the right direction but they're ruin mages more than ever now? Since they're basically mini festers now.

I think his characterisation (in terms of threat-level) was pretty weak.
You're told he's strong, and then you fight him, and then he just OHKOs you after he gets bored.

There's a way to do "supposed to lose" fights, and in FFXIV I think they should have had him linearly increase his attack speed (including the AoE he tosses out) until avoiding them becomes impossible and you lose organically.

Just accept the fact that Yoshi has a clear bias towards BLM (notice it literally only ever gains skills and buffs) because he plays it, and start playing it.

I think the one hit kills are fine, it's just the buildup. We're strong, and beating the lightwarden before and dispelling the light felt SO good, then you just get slapped. It's that which feels like shit imo, the only weak point of the expansion so far, building the player up and then knocking them down so hard was just jarring.

The one scathing issue with trusts is they don't bother with AoE, so yeah, the trade off for doing this dungeon by yourself, getting all the loot and having it be pretty much retardproof is that the trusts take their sweet time.

In an effort for the 13th shard to rejoin, she gave the people there the method of fighting monsters by using primal energies locked in auracite, but the energies leaked out and they became Lucavi. It snowballed since then and the entire world became a void, cut off from the life stream so it is unable to rejoin to the source. In short: She did her job TOO well and that's why she was Lahabrea's slut.

It depends on the class, just calculate it. 4 or more is always aoe, 3 or more is aoe usually. 2 is often just dot both and focus one down.

In cases where you're fighting 3 and the healer still has to gcd heal because everyone is made of fucking paper with shit gear, it's better to focus one down so the healer can relax and dps.

I know that used to be true in 4.X, but now DRK has their own window for Bloodspiller, which is 10 more potency. It's not all direct critical hits, but they give you mana so you can spam Edge of Darkness between each BS for upwards of 9-10k a hit bonus tacked on at 70. Will THE FELLER CLEAVE change this substantially?

I can pretty much confirm it is an overheating error. I had the same shit for months (using GTX970) and one day tried out MSI Afterburner to force the fans to stay at 100% fan speed, never saw the error again. And hope it stays this way.
