That's like a huge understatement. You have to be kidding guys. How is no one talking about this? The music was absolutely gorgeous. That was like easily 11/10 music right there. Beautiful. Never heard such amazing music before in Mysterious.

I'm coming off of Lulua which also had some pretty outstanding music so to me it seems like a natural next step from that.

But the one that made everyone notice it didn't have it was a cutscene. Maybe there was small print at the bottom that said not done yet and subject to change. Ryza's breasts are like pudding or jelly. The best kind of physics.

Also did anyone notice how Ryza is always looking out to the sea like she's bothered by something. What did they mean by that? Is she truly the Queen of Darkness?

The site has also updated in case anyone isn't aware. It seems like the game is $80? That's just the standard edition and the premium is $100.

Haven't played one of these before but I see threads every so often. I see there's an astonishing amount of games in the series - are they all just low effort asset flips or is it a better/more successful series than I thought? And are there any games that are especially good that I should start off with?

It looks ok overall. But they are still reusing the same old janky "anime" character animation back since rorona series.
Have to agree. Anything past Ayesha has been average at best. Though, their Blue Reflection game has pretty nice tracks.
Most modern Atelier games are low effort by design to maximise their profits by yearly releases. Anyway, I am biased, so I will recommend Mana Khemia as the starting point. Ayesha is nice too, you can go with that if Mana Khemia is too old for you.

It's closer to 70 and it's the standard price for the series, Lulua was also 7,800 yen. Some games in Japan cost a lot.

Not him, but for instance the animation where Ryza points up with her index finger is lifted straight-up from Lulua, and possibly the Mysterious games which I haven't played yet.

Anime is not cheap it’s pro LG harder to make and more expensive to make than something dumb like toy story I’ve been practicing anime since I was like 9 trust me it’s nit cheap
