P good
Id give it a 7/10.
Should have implemented its extra content within the story of the game instead of delegating it exclusively to endgame content. Would have made for a more interesting game, not to mention the benefits it would make to speed running communities that like playing it. I'm not saying force the player to get all those moons to complete the story, but make it supplemental and accessible during the story.

It's pretty good but there are too many fucking moons and they're way too repetitive after a certain point.

It's great ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

>These people saying it's "great"
Fuck off you stupid children. It was terrible as a Mario game. Rewarding people for doing nearly nothing is not "great". Imagine if collecting the mushroom in 1-1 finished the level. THAT'S how shitty and casual this game is and it gets defended because "LMAO MARIO WUZ ALWAYZ EASY HURR DURR".

Major Nintendo title so It's Yea Forums's absolute worst game ever made.

this. you don't get that feeling you got when you get gotted a star in 64

(You)

It's basically like DK64

A lot of shit to collect but no fun doing it

So I give the game 6/10, it looks beautiful but it gets boring after 1 hour unlike other 3d Mario games (not sunshine)

Also getting a snapshot everytime you collect a moon is annoying

repetitive but well-made and plenty of toys to play with
I give it a solid 7

I'm sorry, did I say something you didn't like? Man the fuck up and realise you're a stupid cunt for buying into this casualised shit. This is the link between mobile-tier games on actual consoles and its profits speak volumes of how "laid back" games should be.

lemme tell ya
im not a big switch guy, i bought it cause i fell for the botw hype (its geat though, i played it and enjoyed it) and im not that great with the controls and some of the moons are fucking retarded, if you think a child could find even half of them you are delusional, its challenging.

9/10, wish there were more real objectives in the kingdoms similar to when you first enter them. Finding moons in a kingdom you've already up and left feels like a hunt for red coins and is gets a bit tiring after collecting 80% of what there is to find. I like that most kingdoms had some side stuff to do but they weren't very fulfilling.

I quite liked it

The levels were not very good. New Donk City was the only one that felt fleshed out.

Doesn't capture the magic of Galaxy or Sunshine but its a fun game nonetheless

>if you think a child could find even half of them you are delusional, its challenging.
100 or so medium challenge moons won't compensate for the fact that a lot of them are baby-tier easy. I don't expect a child to get the 100 skipping rope star or the 100 volleyball bounce, but the rest wouldn't be an issue if they could wrestle with the shitty controls.

"you"

It's pretty good.

Movement isn't as tight as sunshine and I don't think the level design is as solid, since it relies more on preset paths through each world and there's less visual unity, but there's a lot more content then sunshine, cappy is a lot better then fludd, and it's obviously got better movement and such then 64.

Were you not even smart enough to reply with "have sex". Jesus Christ, you're such a fucking normalfag even for a Yea Forums user.

have sex

Wow, you finally said something "clever" after being prompted. You're a real individual thinker.

Did you play through it and fiddled in the "endgame"? If you didn't have any fun breaking the game with mario's movement, finding hidden coins and hard to find moons and unlocking every kingdom I'm sorry. The game's extremely rewarding when you use clever platforming instead of the cap stuff and the devs know it

Well done, did the bait taste good?

Unlike previous Mario games it's more an exploration game than a platformer similar to how Breath of the wild is more an exploration game than an action adventure. Yes there is some interesting gameplay here and there but 70% of the time spent is for explorative content.

It's Nintendo therefore it's shit

Funny you say you get moons for sequence breaking when that's an outright lie. You get measly coins at best and nothing at worst. I've gotten to many areas one could consider "out of bounds" and only received a shitty amount of coins for such an effort.

I can't clearly change your mind user but I respect your opinion and hopefully you'll find a game which you like

Let's all agree to disagree

I did, it's called Super Mario Maker 2. The most fun I've had in months.

So it's like the first one but better?

pretty good overall, but for me it got overhyped to shit and back so I felt a bit disappointed.
When I got to the "big emotional ending" I just thought
>That's it? Oh it's like Donkey Kong, cool I guess
The song isn't that good, and there's been trillions of Mario throwbacks over the years. I don't get why people were so crazy about the ending.
The n64 suit though was great and actually looks like the original N64 mario unlike other games that halfass throwbacks like that.
I liked 3D World more

The trailer for Mario Odyssey was the biggest bait I have ever experienced. It all looked so amazing, the city, the T-rex and all the other shit. And in the actual game there was nothing to it. The city was super small, the t-rex was a 10 second gimmick just to smash stones. All of it was just a facade.

I don't know, never tried the first one.

The trailer was better
