After ignoring the series for decades I'm finally trying to learn and wew lad I don't get this game at all. I'm decent at traditional fighters but those skills don't really seem to transfer, it's like going from classical music to acid jazz.

I'm not sure if that short hop into nair was intentional or not to dodge Snakes down tilt but it looked cool as fuck

The Dark Pit didnt really make any mistakes. Instead, the Ken was rewarded for high level play. The back air in the second webm is really hard to do; Ryu and Ken always face their opponents 1v1.

I haven't seen the match so I don't know but short hop falling nair is a great combo starter for falcon. It can lead into anything.

Think about those stages and how uneven most of them are

Fatality is fucking terrifying to watch. He's got that special kind of tism that allows him to know the exact best way to take you from 0 to fucking ded on simple confirms.

Because 97 of those stages are dogshit if you want to fight the other player instead of the stage.

How do you not know what uneven means? Try fighting on Hyrule Temple for example.

Most players don't care that much about stage aesthetics. Also, Pokemon Stadium is more neutral toward most matchups than either BF or FD are, which is why tryhards will often choose it as the first stage.

Why did Pokemon Stadium 2 have to be one everyone plays instead of Stadium 1?
