How bonus time works: After each reset of the Pit Stop, your bonus time is also renewed. You have thirty in-race minutes to win as much wumpa coins as possible. The fastest method of doing this is as follows; >Have one player who has already completed their bonus time join you in a private lobby. >Set the game to 3 laps with no AI on Jungle Boogie. >Ensure both players have intro skip activated from the options menu so as to not waste time. >The player who has something to earn from the bonus must race alone whilst the second player relaxes at the starting line - with no weapons and such in play to interfere, the game can end quicker. >On average you should be completing the race in 1 minute and 30 seconds. Given you have 30 in-race minutes for the bonus to be applied, you have exactly 20 races on Jungle Boogie to do this in. >Try to squeeze in as quick a time as possible to cut the total bonus timer down. >If you are fast enough, you may just be able to score a 21st win bonus.
As you know, the new content in the Nitro GP introduces new content, including; Tawna, the Nitro Squad and a new track by the name of Midnight Tour. It is revealed that Tawna can be unlocked through building up the new 'Nitro Gauge' through completing challenges issued during the limited time period this GP will run for. After which, content missed will be allocated to the Pit Stop at a further, undisclosed date (like during a hiatus period for when the current lineup of GPs are done). The Nitro Squad girls consisting of members Ami, Isabella, Liz and Megumi will almost certainly be relegated to specialized purchases in the Pit Stop - and given the nature of things, save up as many coins as you can before then. Midnight Tour will be available to everyone regardless, so long as they can connect to the internet and download the update for the additional content.

Like most people you're drastically exaggerating the physics and hitboxes in NST. The jumps are a bit tighter, and the pillbox exists. That's it. The pillbox helps just as much as it hurts anyway, since you can run off of ledges and still jump, meaning you can make more distance from the ledge than you could in the original. The only times I really noticed the jumps being off were in some of the fucky levels in 1 and that one really big bonus jump in 2. That's it. I'd say the amount of easter eggs, extra content, and fixes to 1 drastically outweigh the different physics.

I honestly always felt it should have been Tropy with the Oxide times and not the ones he has now. Like you beat Oxide in story and only know about Tropy due to Time Trials and it would just fit better with him as the harder Time Trial times
I haven't seen ironclad citations but apparently you get a 30 minute boost every day on the weekend; the 30 minutes only pass in actual races, not menus and loading so don't worry about that. It resets every time the Pit Stop refreshes.

I don't know about everyone else, but I hate the part in Dingo Canyon that has water, it's one of many parts in this track where you can't properly drift or build your speed. Jungle Boogie and Coco Park are boring and short, but you can drive faster, and Jungle Boogie has shortcuts that at least require a small amount of skill.

I haven't been able to play much but I've still managed to stockpile 10k because the last week for me has been the pit stop swapping between those two fucking Coco skins(I don't play her), summertime bundle(I only want N. Trance and otherwise never liked 'day at the beach' skins in games like this, LoL, etc), and Crunch rotting in the character buying window. I like Crunch but I don't want to spend wumpa on a speed character right now.
Do I have to buy these fuckers to get some rotation going or what? I thought the shop rotated out every day regardless but Crunch and the Imperium were featured both yesterday and today for me.

This is my first time with CTR and I think the best thing you can do is finish adventure mode on Medium, while breaking to play at least a handful of online races every day to get a taste of that + collect your wumpa coins(there's a system in place that promotes playing a little every day vs heavily grinding one day).
Once you've finished adventure mode, get to time trials/relics so you can let Oxide teach you the advanced maneuvers and track shortcuts. Again, don't wait till you've exhausted all single player content before hopping online - it really behooves you to just intersperse some online play every day even if you're shit. Lastly this game plays very different from your average kart racer, and once you put a day into getting comfortable it gets FUN. I can't go back to Mario Kart after this honestly

Other than that I never played much Crash so I don't know anything the characters have worn in the past. A goofy knight outfit with the helm up for Crash would be nice.

Why the fuck is Oxide Station's time trial so fucking unforgiving compared to all the other tracks? I beat N Tropy's time on all the other tracks without much issues barring a few exceptions but the fucking Oxide Station track took me hours to beat him on.
On the flipside the oxide time on that track is one of the easiest to beat.

If you're coming up to the Blizzard Bluff shortcut without SF then don't even attempt it, you won't have enough speed to make the jump. If you couldn't maintain SF up to that point then that's either on you or you were unlucky and got hit by an item, and if you're failing the Polar Pass shortcut that everybody knows then I don't know what to tell you. Unless you're talking about this: youtube.com/watch?v=EwjSQ-waRvQ (go to 0:46, ignore the faggy wannabe Youtuber with a mic he bought for five dollars) Dunno what to tell you about this one, but from what I can see you need USF and a mask to do it easily, which is fucked. The Sewer Speedway shortcut is stupidly precise and inconsistent compared to the original, though.
