The Ice levels from Donkey Kong Country 2 are absurdly beautiful and atmospheric and nothing really compares.
Any game with an 'ice rod' that creates traversible paths when used on a body of water.

I have been watching some videos of A Hat in Time, does the Ice Hat do anything other than being a weird way of moving around, I find it so strange that the power to turn the Hat Kid to ice is used only to jump from one place to another.
