The game only checks how many NSF troops are dead near the entrance to Castle Clinton. If you trigger the shootout and 2 or more troops are killed you get this "went in shooting" dialogue

Low tech is really good for leathal playthroughs too because one of the weapon you get later is stupidly strong. It can even bust through many doors if you level the skill.

Shooting in Deus Ex is infamously inaccurate unless you have glitchy laser sight or the highest skill level with your weapon, which can cause wonky shit to happen, like having every single shot from the auto-shotgun land perfectly at the exact same spot.

Fuck off retard. ALWAYS put one point in swimming. It costs nothing and makes you swim 2.75x faster, the single largest boost in the entire game.

Nigga, it literally says that it eliminates any inaccuracy. There is nothing glitchy about it, outside of the broken interaction of using a scope and laser sight on the same weapon.

If you're going non-lethal, don't forget about the baton.

I think I need to change brightness, but since I'm using the d3d10 shit i think I need to change it in a config file somewhere. brightness is maxed out in my menu, but it doesn't seem to alter the image anyway.

No kills so far. Never gone nonlethal in Doos Ex. I imagine Anna and Gunther will be annoying to deal with nonlethally if I continue this way.
