I am glad that FFVII remake will get it's own German dub once again (though probably can switch to Japanese too, it's 4 or 5 languages with audio, iirc), escpacially after the Bullshit they forced us into with Crisis Core and Dissidia, to the point I needed to get the undub version from China that had Japanese voices and English subtitles/menues.

I don't know what the general consensus is elsewhere, but most people I know have a somewhat negative perception of them (which I share). It probably has to do with how the majority of (younger) Turks behave which can be pretty obnoxious if you come across them in public. It has to do with the sounds and phonics unique to the German language, even a highly educated professor has to operate within the rules of the language, the reason why German is unpleasant is mainly because of the throat "r" sound, but also because of the length of words, you have to speak a LOT just to convey something simple. It is similar to how French is annoying due to all the nasally sounds, that are present in words like "bon". Your example is even more unpleasant though obviously
