Sorry, I don’t have autism

because little anime girls are gay as fuck

based
cringe

I don''t like yaegashi nan's new artstyle.

I'm gonna start Ar Tonelico soon. Hopefully it emulates alright.

No good ones on PC

Because I'm playing a VN, you filthy casual

It's better than the first one

Eventually yes

I'm not about to install and set up a poorly coded emulator for every new game that I want to play

I just got done playing some Bloodstained

Genius of Sappheiros

Most RPGs heavily gravitate either towards pre-battle planning or in-battle execution, this game nails both of them with countless details you have to pay attention to. Since every character brings an unique toolset you can further adjust with skilltrees there's quite a bit of playing around with team composition before and (for certain battles) in combat. There are many characters you can train, but scaling XP and XP being awarded to dead chars as well means that catching up is easy unless you speedrun.
There's a decent balance to everything, even the "weak" characters with low damage/health have their moment to shine, battles are consistently difficult but not to the point of insanity, and status ailments/buffs etc. are a constant part of the system without completely eliminating the challenge.
What I love the most is the general game flow where you perfectly line up cooldown-based skills several turns in advance, in some cases before a second boss phase starts and unleash them with perfect timing. That plus how you are encouraged to think outside the box, like the time you can fuck over a boss by giving him a RES buff on purpose.
All in all a wild ride with a great soundtrack, too.

Reminder she's the only girl from the main party who does anal

But I'm playing SMTIV right now.

Because I don't speak japanese and I've been informed that I'm not allowed to enjoy any japanese entertainment medium if I don't speak their language

Anal is gross

Because I'm enjoying CRPGs right now

Because I was playing an old game without autosave lost to a boss because I was under leveled and hadn't saved in over a couple of hours. Because PS1 games didn't like putting save points in place that make sense like before fucking bosses. So I don't feel like grinding then making up lost time at the moment. And old games love that abrupt difficult spike out of nowhere bullshit.

I'm playing Fire Emblem 6 and it's kicking my ass.

I'm about 16 hours into Dragon Quest 11. Kinda boring so far and I'm sure I've got 70 hours of more slogging to do

90% of jrpgs are complete garbage. fight me faggots.

Werks in my machine

>10% of jrpgs aren't complete garbage
you're being waaaay to generous

but i'm playing dq7 right now

They emulated fine from what I remember. Don't forget to use the retranslation patch for AT2

They usually take too much time to complete. I don't want to spend 50h+ on one game.

I'm playing through Nier Automata. How long is route C? I've just cleared Pascal's village.

I am, Sekiro.

JRPGs typically take me 80-100+ hours. I never understand how people can get them done so fast.

Please recommend me a newish JRPG to play
I emulated most of the old classics, but not familiar with the new ones
What’s a great newish JRPG?

Chapter 4 in Amayui
why is there barely any porn
I'm several hours in and MC still hasn't fucked the cat

Is it in any way possible for this to be localized before the end of 2020?
All the translations for the Rance are practically done, and other things are slowing down the pipeline. So if translation for Evenicle 2 goes smoothly, and Mangagamer prioritizes the title somewhat. Is it possible?

>"Because i just finished Chrono Trigger, I also think th2at weeb stuff is fucking garbage and not worth it

post your jrpg 3x3

I really should actually, thanks for the reminder.
Should I continue pushing through SMT Nocturne Hardtype Hack, start Digital Devil Saga 2 or start FFXII Zodiac Age?
Did The Caligula Effect turn out to be any good?
Also this thread got me wondering, does Yakuza series fit more in JRPG genre or beat-em-up genre?

>Did The Caligula Effect turn out to be any good?

It was okay. Heard that Overdose fixed some issues

Because they are all formulaic and repetitive as fuck and they make profit off horny retards. Play the chad RPG and stop with this gay shit.

I’m actually playing Evenicle 2 right now. Gameplay and plot are better but the characters are worse, no one caputred my heart and dick the same way Ramius and especially Gurigura did. Then again I’m going off a machine translation and my limited knowledge of moon.

imo Yakuza's more of a beat-em-up, the level system and equipment are a little on the thin side. But I guess I'd accept it as a jrpg.

Endless Frontier

>the same way Ramius and especially Gurigura did
Faggot

Burned out. Need to play other shit for a while.

>Getting banned with a hacked 3DS
This isn't the Switch, user. Nintendo can't do shit to detect your 3DS being hacked.

I wouldn't say the games really focus on the fighting that much either, there's enough for it to not feel barebones but the games mostly focus on stuff like narrative, exploration and side content.

In what ways is it better? Because the main wives don't pique my interest beyond the coffee colored girl.

Right. Just some kind of action adventure?

>not liking Guri
She was 100% best wife, maybe my favorite Nan girl of all time.

The plot is overall much better and more ambitious without diminishing the fun and light-hearted (for AS standards anyway) nature of the game. Alec is a superior MC too. The quality of the wives obviously varies a lot from person to person, for me the main wives aren't as good as the first one's but the side cast is better so it's about the same in that regard. More fappable H-scenes overall too.
Lastly, I liked the music in the second one more, especially when you get to chapter 5. The overworld BGM in that one is some good shit.

I would be playing Tokyo Mirage Sessions, but I’m too busy playing Mario Maker 2.
