Nah, the combo system is simplified with every auto link being F>M>Q>F. They added supers but the power bar only fills up with damage taken and doesn't give you any extras other than the ability to perform super moves.
Also, it's probably a personal opinion, but I think the overall presentation had a drop in quality.
