So why do people like this again...

So why do people like this again? It randomly uninstalls my games whenever it feels like it and is getting out competed by other platforms

Hello China man
1989 tiananmen square massacre btw

Legit tried that and it still redownloaded the game

I dunno. Consoles are better for video games than PC anyway. The only game I play on PC is dorf fort, which I keep on an offline desktop. I only use my online desktop for work.

>randomly uninstalls my games
Never heard of that for the 7 years I've used it. Do you keep games on an external that you sometimes disconnect? If so, make sure steam can identify the external library upon reconnection. I know you're just fishing for (you)'s, though.

Imagine if EGS was doing that, reddit would explode together with Yea Forums

Shut up stuipd.

Because many the games are exclusive to their service, so the alternative is to not play them at all.

"exclusive to steam"
Name three (3) examples that aren't shitty indies.

Alternative is to pirate friend

Name one Steam exclusive game that isn't made by Valve or doesn't use Steamworks for online functionality

try this then
steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/619568192873331501/?ctp=2
games are exclusive to steam either because they're valve's or because publishers choose to not put their games on any other platform, and even then you don't have to buy the game from steam since there's sites like humble or fanatical that let you buy keys and non of that money goes to valve

Dark souls series
Devil may CRY V
Sekiro

They all use Steamworks

Yeah, when the game is exclusive it's usually because copyright owner choose not to release it elsewhere. This isn't rocket science user

I wasn't responding to you but regardless, only dark souls use steamworks as far as i know. I could still find shit ton of examples withouth even multi mode so what's your point anyway

Tencent Sweeney in full force again nothing new

Just needs more than just twitter to rant

Yeah, cope harder steam faggot

>Gets proven wrong
>I-I wssnt talking to you

Fucking classic

>It randomly uninstalls my games whenever it feels like it
I've had Steam since the 1.6 days and never had an issue.

>it's bad because it's being outcompeted
fucking backwards retard logic

It's a superior launcher to Epic's and it's never uninstalled anything for me. Has way better features and customer support. If Epic has an exclusive out I'll just pirate it. Having 2 launchers is dumb

>steam
>customer support

Attached: 84214179831.jpg (225x225, 7K)

yes, but epic pays for exclusivity deals most of the time, so even if a steam release for a game is planned it's stuck on a different platform for 6 months to a year, which is what people are complaining about

Another episode of Epic shilling OP.

I'm coping far better at steam than you are at EGS shill

How's that shopping cart coming along?

>valid complaint
>s-stop shilling, steam is perfect. PERFECT I SAY

?

>valid complaint
>extremely rare bug

Steam support isn't simply bad, it has it's own cattegory i like to call it simply "steam support" and i'm not trolling nor shilling. I always crack when someone praise steam support

Attached: 21641289051.jpg (1944x1240, 298K)

How is a lie, as shown in this very thread, a valid complaint?

I've never had any problems with Steam

I consider it miles better than Epic's. Even with something that's happened like in your pic I've had really good support from them. I suppose it varies but I've always had bad luck with Epic.

I don't know shit about epic customer support. I do not belive that anyone support can be worse than steam one, they have like 50 people in their support team and millions of customers. This is disgraceful

>It randomly uninstalls my games whenever it feels like it
What the fuck? It never did that for me and I own a shitton of games and a fuckload of them are installed. The worst thing it did is reset my setting after an update or other that makes it so it doesn't download games while I play, they really need to get that shit sorted out.

>is getting out competed by other platforms
lol no. Maybe if you live on a first world country you don't like the prices, but here on my country they are perfect. I paid the equivalent of 25 dollars for Resident Evil 2 Remake on LAUNCH, you can't beat that shit. Also if you care about achievements and cards Steam is also the only doing that shit, so yeah.

If it serves as a parameter, I bought Satisfactory on Epic at launch then had to struggle for a week with their support because the launcher would just refuse to acknowledge I bought the fucking game until somehow it just magically did and support just fucked off into the void. Which is better than 13 days with no response but still not ideal.

Pirate the game for 0$, if you care about archivments and cards then just kill yourself. you're welcome
