Im 29 and literally only just played and finished TR1 a couple of days ago and its packed with more good video game play than i have seen in nearly a decade of HD era games. It took me a couple of levels to get a hang of the platforming and controls, now they feel super tight and satisfying. I know the jumps that will work and the ones i will miss by eye. I really do think its an actual zoomer tgi g to have no capacity to learn odd gameplay styles, because im already playing TRII, this series is great.
