Bitch ass niggers keep complaining about the diggernaut.

I'll admit it took me a couple reloads to defeat that faggot. When I finally did it was actually happy and relieved.

where the FUCK is matador

He wasn't too bad on hard. Beat Kamashida and the Dino boss on the second try.

Attached: stick.jpg (852x480, 27K)

Does Q2 have the same issue as the first were it's too easy from how powerful the secondary personas were

Attached: 1439246435535.jpg (500x314, 67K)

Fuck this guy, no. More like fuck this entire game

Attached: 1548586915001.jpg (1280x720, 181K)

It's harder and better designed than the first game but like in literally everything MegaTen, you can fuse some extremely overpowered shit if you know what you're doing.

Attached: 65005424.gif (459x256, 1.86M)

surfing is so satisfying, especially when you git gud at it

beat him last night. the entire battle had me sweating.

Mission is the final exam for parrying

Ansem wasn't bad. Young Xehanort on the other hand had trying an evening or two.

>Mission
it took me a minute to realize you just misspelled Monsoon and now I feel stupid

Which difficulty? Will be starting within the next few days, want to know which difficulty other anons went with.

fact: you can accurately rate souls games by the quantity and quality of their casual filters

normal. im not afraid to admit im a bit of a bitch.

Obligatory in any thread

Attached: f73db9dc7865bc3bd8d2efa7085ff782.jpg (698x1280, 134K)

It was autocorrect, I'm a phoneposting faggot

risky or bust.

honestly only the first boss is challenging due to how limited options you have but once you get more stuff, it's easy to break the game just like the first one.

normal on normal battles. hard on boss battles.

Haven't played risky. Hard is a good challenge. Even normal can prove difficult if you're broke. Minimise gear hoarding. You only need 1 goho-m. Fuse persona often, you need to keep your stats high as possible

Yes and no. You literally have to reset if you get that retard Walter. Thats just bad game design

medusa was harder.

>not posted yet
I can't believe a paperclip didn't work

Attached: IMG_7894.jpg (480x480, 40K)

The only difference between risky and hard is that you are forced to keep Joker in your party.

Is it really worth fusing a low-level persona with good skills away for a higher level persona just for like +15 HP?

not really. if joker dies in risky then it's game over also you can't run from FOEs

This FAGGOT FUCK from Shatterhand makes me rage to this day.

Attached: shatterhand.jpg (480x360, 18K)

I guess not if you have good healers, I just find that keeping everyone's stats maxed out is helpful when facing bosses

Attached: 1544753479411.jpg (602x615, 26K)

Yes, but the difficulty itself seems the same. If Joker is getting killed you're probably losing that fight anyway on Hard, but I'm only on the second dungeon so who knows.

Also
>getting caught by FOEs

What are some bosses that aren't notably or famously hard, but you had problems with anyway? It took me like 25 tries to beat this fucker. Then I hear Nameless King is the hardest in the game and beat him on my 3rd or 4th attempt. I also beat Yhorm first try without Storm Ruler because my retarded ass thought it was some kind of endurance fight. Took me 15 minutes.

God damn this fucking faggot FUCK YOU I JUST WANT MUH ANIME BLOOD KATANA

Attached: martyr logarius.jpg (1280x720, 88K)

Dude you know that's not fair.

I finished X6 too, but it's one of the worst designed platformers for both casual and hardcore players. It's just an awful game through and through.

A college classmate played this for their first SMT game. He kept complaining and complaining about Minotaur and how bullshit of a boss he was and how he couldn't beat him after 50+ tries. I finally got around to playing IV and beat him on my first try. The classmate was super pissed.

I know.
but I like it

>optional boss
>pleb filter

is more that is a hassle having to manage time, that's why I hate Majora's and any adventure game that pulls this crap

the very first time I ever fought moonlight butterfly that fucker wrecked my shit over a dozen times.

I'm a Persona pleb, what SMT games should I play, or at least which one should I start with? I heard Strange Journey is pretty excellent

But he is a pleb filter. Any edgy 10 year old that wants muh epic katana has to go through him first.

I hated Persona 4 and 5 especially due to how easy they were even on the harder difficulties. I really liked 3 FES and the game play, while aggravating due to terrible AI, was fun to figure out a way to succeed despite their fuck ups. Never even tried Q1 becuase I have no interest in Etrian Odyssey stuff. Should I try Q1 or 2 anyways?

I just poisoned kamoshida to death and hoped he didn’t bomb my backrow, it’s rediculous how easy yosukesaurus was compared to him.

he's way too late into the game to be a casual/pleb filter as all of them have already been filtered out by the time they get to him, if they even get the summons to begin with.

Thats true. Maybe he could be considered the back up pleb filter. If you somehow slipped through the initial pleb filters through cheese or sheer luck alone, Logarius will surely put you in your place.

I hope SMTV is as good as IV.

You sound autistic. MM is only a hassle if you play it like any other game, but setting immediate goals and knowing the limits of the game make it a unique experience that no other game has done that well.

Didn't play Redux but original DS version will be difficult for new comers, though I really loved Strange Journey. If you have a PS2, 3, or will emulate try Digital Devil Saga or if you have a 3DS try SMTIV. Both are forgiving and have good learning curves. DDS you don't have to worry about fusions but since you already played Persona you already know how the system mostly works. Non-Persona and DDS your teammates are the demons you recruit and fuse. DDS might be best because your party are actual people like Persona. Persona is also the only battle system that uses Once More, most others will have Press Turn. That means no more All Out Attack or Baton Pass anymore. If you're good at Tactical RPGs you can try either Devil Survivor game as they have a mesh of TRPG battle system and Press Turn.

>Draws his sword

Attached: wiegraf.png (400x592, 260K)

If you liked the characters in P5, play Q2. The difficulty is very satisfying so far.

Done.

Attached: Draw your sword, Ramza.png (1120x2190, 767K)

Start with Nocturne or Digital Devil Saga, not Strange Journey unless you really like dungeon crawling.

One of the most powerful casual filters in all of gaming right here

Attached: _-Viewtiful-Joe-Red-Hot-Rumble-PSP-_.jpg (783x500, 68K)

How is it a hassle to manage time? You get 54 minutes (if I recall correctly) at normal speed, and you can slow that down to 30% of normal speed with the inverted Song of Time. You can even save your money in the bank. The only thing you lose is bombs or arrows, and that's not too difficult to get again. You can easily do a casual playthough of an entire area with the corresponding dungeon in that time.

One of the best. Surprised it hasn't been posted yet.

Attached: Cerberus.gif (600x463, 74K)

I hate the characters in Persona 5, thanks.

It's hard, okaaay!? reported for racism.

>So hard they had to patch her to make her easier to beat
>in a single player 3ds waifu game

Yomi is probably singlehandedly responsible to taking an entire point of Japanese review scores for SK2.

Attached: Yomi_DC_Render.png (511x830, 116K)

That's because he's only hard on an underleveled pure BLT build which is what most people fight him

Yomi is why nobody can have nice things, in-game and out.

Thank god I didn't have to learn that shit.
>just shopping for a new car recently
>model I want has a stick and automatic
>stick is cheaper
>testdrive one
>almost crash into other dealers cars
>automatic it is then

>Cyclops
it's literally one of the easiest enemies in the game what the fuck

Compared to the OG theme the King Cerberus theme blows so hard.

it's a damage sponge and has high damage attacks so absolute shitters get fucked by it. It's not a very good filter, but then nothing in DS2 is.

based and casual-pilled

good job you are not a casual

Attached: pardopost.jpg (1280x720, 115K)

Literally every boss in SMT4A on Apocalypse difficulty.

I'll never learn how to surf fuggg

Attached: Murai.jpg (544x569, 200K)

Attached: path of pain.jpg (1280x720, 102K)

I don’t or I’ll probably never finish it like IV

The whole game. You know it is true in your heart.

Attached: FFX-2_box.jpg (256x366, 132K)

the whole game

Attached: Arc_Rise_Fantasia.jpg (1024x687, 211K)

Path of Pain is optional. Even though someone who is a casual probably can't beat it, a casual filter has to be a mandatory part of the game.

Is PQ2 easier than an average EO game? I'd expect that to be common PQ business, but Hard mode was okay in PQ1 iirc

eat a dick

Would you recommend it? I thought I heard the dub was shitty, but I also heard it was dual audio. Looks average as fuck tho

That artstyle looks like it belongs to a mecha anime.
Is this a mecha game?

Sulyvahn and Champ were the two biggest roadblocks during my SL1 run

It doesn't have dual audio, you'll have to download a mod or something but the dub is so hilariously bad I recommend keeping it on
admittedly it is kinda average but it has a great soundtrack and provides good challenge which forces the player to really experiment with magic options to survive
I like it but its probably not for everyone

It's a lot harder than PQ. Not sure about EQ, but it seems harder so far (beginning of third dungeon) than EO1 Untold.

No but now that you mention it, that's the same character designer as Eureka Seven and G Reco

Yes
Stop playing on standard

its almost like you actually have to practice something to learn how to use it

you don't even know

NOTHING IS PROMISED

I'm playing on hard though?

people have beaten him blind folded

>tfw took me 12 years before I finally understood why this chip did nothing when used

This might be the actual only real casual filter in this entire thread.

>Bloodborne basically only has one in gascoigne
>Sekiro is pure filter all the way to gyoubu
hmmm

>Chained Ogre
>Blazing Bull
>not casual filter

>Bloodborne basically only has one in gascoigne
That's not true, casuals bitch about Rom CONSTANTLY with Paarl and Micolash getting whined about often. Shadows of Yarnham, too. And that's without the DLC.

I took over 25 attempts on every boss because I didn't know leveling health was important. I will never have fpnder memories of vidya than of Dark Souls before I knew how to play it.

hell no

have ceкac

explain this one

>Not running false depths for Lost Chikage after Blood Starved

Attached: Smuglaugh.gif (640x358, 1.94M)

more like a grind filter on risky, reached him on level 10 because entire stratum was piss easy but with him getting two actions per turn (and one-shotting members with one of them even through front guard) there's nothing you can do but grind

>It's snake man Terror mission

Attached: fun times.png (776x430, 18K)

>get walter as a partner
>guaranteed to lose
how is that fair

Card game. Card makes you pull off a fighting game combo to be used effectively. Multiple combos that change the card's effect

Diggernaut really isn't that bad. Took me a few tries but once you know what to do, not much of a problem. The series has worse bosses, like Yakuza.

I feel like this is when I stopped playing that game. I should go back to it.

couldn't play this game because I don't know car shit

Attached: 1560739534169.gif (300x186, 446K)

>tfw neither were really all that hard for me
>beat them both in just a few tries
>don't even play that many JRPGs
>actually went back and beat them multiple times just in the off-hand chance that I could do better by saving potions and shit

Attached: 1538556203227.png (1378x664, 1.26M)

This fucker right here took me so long to beat on DMD mode. Funny enough, he's probably the easiest boss to beat on that mode for me now.

The nightmare in the black coat was the real test.

One of the greatest character designs I've ever seen.

Another Joe was the hardest, followed by Frost Tiger in 2; both have become my favorite boss fights in their respective games.

Smaugan in NGB fucked me over one playthrough for some reason.

>Komashida is again one of the best things in the game
Hope they give him more screentime in P5 Royal

Attached: 1560677343882.gif (106x118, 7K)

bridge werewolves, djura, and blood-starved are all difficult for casuals too

>tfw know how to surf but I'm just fucking retarded when it comes to completing surf maps

Agreed. Don't know why people always say Agni and Rudra are the casual filters. The only other boss that compares is Vergil 2.

this thread is garbage lol

what

i did that for the burial blade, i don't have to fight logarius? ffffffffudihudsfjodsifdsf

Attached: Gattuso.jpg (1280x720, 78K)

Yosukesaurus kicked my ass the first few times.

Then I noticed if you never let the adds put the attack buff on the boss once they start spawning, he will never attack you. Then he was a joke.

That dude that jumps you when you try to rescue Yukiko in Persona 4. I dropped that shit after wading through a whole dungeon with no save point just to get suckerpunched. To this day I do not understand how people could enjoy that game; it's just a bunch of boring talking followed by an asswhupping. The game doesn't even let you pick the dialogue options you want, and fuck an rpg where you get a game over just because a specific character died, even though I have items to bring them back. That was always the worst part of ff6. P4: most overrated game ever.

he's bullshit, not even funny how some classes are straight useless against him.

Attached: 3247614f59f487f217ffe004e65b031e.png (739x499, 446K)

Danny Sexbang?

The real casual filter is actually unlocking his dungeon
So many noobs never to talk to bar patrons

Attached: 1509219823138.png (1000x1000, 1.55M)

just spam spark blade

I haven't played SMT, but that's a fucking amazing design.

Yomi should be lewdly punished for that.

Attached: 15258284718481.jpg (1920x1080, 220K)

If you hit the deadline and weren't able to save then, you severely fucked up somewhere.

you literally named the 2 bosses that are easier because of items you shitter

Do you have to do it before the weather changes or can you do it on the day the weather changes?

People unironically only like it for the waifu social links.

I think you have until the last day of all the rain. The game blatantly spells out when your about to run out of time if I remember right too, so there's no real excuse to miss the deadline. Even on ny first run I had to actually waste several weeks just to see the game over ending.
