Also after beating it and getting my TF2 items, I feel like the game was more of a marketing scheme you had to pay money for rather than a real game
How do you beat it?
I know the rules of poker but am a brainlet when competing against a computer.
all the characters have tells, like if one of them gets really excited while looking at his cards, you know he has a really good hand.
For the items, I would reset at the menu until it played the item dialogue I wanted
I basically would aim for high doubles (two pair), sometimes I'd get lucky and get a three pair and would get lucky with a couple of straights which is following in a numerical order of 2, 3, 4, etc
Sometimes the AI will instantly fold if you put up a high bet, meaning you get the chipped into pot, but obviously this can be risky.
Thanks!
Aim for higher pairs (10 and up), and if you don't like the first three cards that show up, fold
The second game has better dialogue and table options, but the characters in the first were better represented imo.
Like says. The characters have extreme tells, and learning the various ones is the key to busting people out. It seems tricky at first but once you figure it out the game becomes rather easy.
Poker Night 1 and 2 have a decent amount of interesting and funny lines but play it for long enough and you will have heard them all. It's more like a fun idea but the execution could've been a lot better. But TellTale is dead so it ain't happening.
>Heavy's story about his bird as a child
I wished they did more of these.
>dude claptrap lmao
Literally jumped the shark in its second appearance.
If I bought this game can I still install it?
I literally just played it at 1am today and unlocked all the items for TF2
If you bought, Steam doesn't take it away from your library. You can download it anytime you want.
>buy a game that's moderately interesting
>gives you free hats afterwords to make up for not having much replay value
user why don't you just relax.
I imagined 3 would have had an expanded roster and Guest DLC so you could pick and choose who you wanted, but that would require more recording hours and time than it's probably worth for such a niche game.
First game was $5, second game was $10
Third game could have been $15-$20
generally yeah, but it seems like that's not always the case pcgamesn.com
the beginning of shitty games people literally only bought for TF2 hats
No, that was Deus Ex Human Revolution.
its been like 12 years since this game came out and JUST NOW people are bringing it up again, why? its so fucking dated. no one knows who strongbad or max or tycho is.
>no one knows who Strong Bad or Max is
I'll give you Why am I so bald, but you're wrong about the other two.
>trogdor board game got almost $1.5 on kickstarter
>google's new chromebook processor is codenamed trogdor
I think people still remember homestar my dude
Seems weird since that doesn't happen to other TellTale games.
people are saying they were still able to download the game in the steam community, so maybe it was just fucky wording from mojang
When I first heard of Poker Night, that's what I expected. i thought there would have to be more characters being unlocked.
That or Mojang actually wanted to completely remove it from people's libraries until Valve told them that's not how it works.
Really, it's fucking retarded to even want it off people's libraries. The devs aren't losing anything by letting people have what they paid for.
The fact that we've reached a point where there's an actual threat of devs simply taking away shit we paid for is disgusting.
It was decent.
Good enough material for 8 matches of Poker
Repetitive as fuck for the ammount it required for you to get unlock the item rewards
That's retarded, I know who all these characters are.
1. Go all in during the very first hand
2. Watch everyone fold
3. Repeat like three or four times until you're too high up to lose
yeah but that's probably because you're getting groomed by middle aged men who are still trying to hang onto their glorydays
This, knowing how much money they have really influences how you play
