One of the big differences I noticed about Halo compared to COD was how much skill influences the game. A very skilled Halo player can completely massacre a weak team and get insane killstreaks. In COD it's very much luck based and finding exploits

it was junior year in high school for me when Halo 2 came out. I had never played the first one (I didn't have an xbox yet or a good pc), and the day after it came out, half the kids in my high school skipped school. I was surprised cause back then a lot of people didn't admit to playing games besides sports video games.

I did play a lot of Doom and Quake in elementary school, when we got our first family PC.
