Nintendo is my favorite of the Big 3 but I'm by no means a blind fanboy. I don't think they've put out a good piece of hardware specs-wise since the GameCube, which is annoying as fuck because they have some of the best game designers in the industry but are continuously held back by shitty hardware. The Switch is great hardware for a handheld, I just think of it as a handheld that has a HDMI-out built in. That said I think you'll find that Nintendo fans acknowledge that video games are an inherently childish hobby and play games for fun rather than to explore them as an artistic medium or win over their normalfag friends or whatever the fuck Snoys and Xbots play them for. I can respect the weeb portion of the Sony fanbase as that's always been their strong suit and I have owned several Sony consoles, but the Xbox brand has no reason to exist and is the cancer that has sucked almost all of the creativity and fun out of the console market. PC + Nintendo is the way to go, with Sony as an optional accessory for the JRPGs that don't get released on anything else.

I've bought ps2, 3 and 4 and 4 will be the last console from them. I always bought them for niche third party games, and it seems they don't much care for them, actually banning some games that have content that they don't like. My time with time is over, I don't care even when persona 6 will come to that next thing. I can live without a one game when there's 10 others elsewhere. Good times and I get why they would aim for bigger games since that's where the money apparently is, I just don't care for their first party or AAA in general. Everybodys golf is a great game though

Fewer and fewer developers and publishers take risks or focus on creating a game that doesn’t have broad, mass market appeal. Bigger and bigger budgets to create more generic and casual games.
