I like both, but I usually end up replaying wrpgs several times with different choices and characters while I only play a jrpg once.

Jrpgs have a more character focused narrative with melodrama and usually silly character interactions but are really linear. They’re fun when I wanna play through an anime-esque story without focusing too much thanks to its linearity and simpler stories.
