I don't discuss video games outside of Yea Forums

I unironically say Gang Weed memes IRL and I deadlift 232. Yep, I'm thinking I'm based and redpilled.

I know literally all of you won't believe me, but I actually got a girl's number from wearing an ODST shirt. It was just plain black and the 4 white letters. She called me over and said, "My brother plays that game."
I have chiseled pecs and the shirt was rather tight. That may have had something to do with it.

Save some gash for the rest of us jabroni

>accidentally let it slip that I used to play yugioh to a coworker
>he reveals his entire power level
>he asks leading questions and slowly makes me reveal that im a weeb
>he constantly tries talking to me about shonen shit or videogames
I just want to work and go home, not listen to him gush about one piece or destiny.
Ive managed to keep it hidden that im a bigger Weeb than him, but shit
His latest hot take from today was: "I used to rate SAO a 1/10 on my anime list until I saw the dumpster fire that is konasuba and then I bumped sao to a 4"

Hes better than the unironic flat earther who loved fortnite though

Maybe she really wants to fuck her brother but has a strong moral code. Also it's because you were wearing an ODST shirt not because you were ripped, women know how based ODST are.

>deadlifts only 232 pounds

Oh boy I'm fuckin laughing that you think that's even remotely worth bragging about

Slightly based co-worker, points deducted for liking Destiny and One Piece though.

>Yea Forums power level
explain

Do you shit on basically every video game your coworkers/people you know are playing or do you humor them?

He almost exclusively watches shonen, and occasionally dabbles into isakai shit
He keeps trying to get me to watch hxh
I constantly tell him I dont watch much anime anymore, but I just dont have the nerve to tell him that I watch garbage like kemono friends

if you mean shit like fortnite/leagueoflegends/fallout4 i simply say i dont play those games

I miss being back in high-school and talking to this one group of girls who only played fighting games at the local arcade. I was able to show off my power level all the time then.

Anyone who flaunts the fact that they watch SAO is simply trolling.

Maybe one day you will reveal your power level...it is a sacred bond that not all understand so I understand user.
They never ask why?

is this you?

This is true, the best way to find out if someone is lying/has shit taste is to ask them about SOA. Nothing is funnier than a defensive SOA online fan. The only one I met irl was a supreme edge lord who ended up date raping a girl.

>talking about SAO with a co-worker

>They never ask why?
well i genuinely have never played fortnite or league of legends before because they simply dont interest me, and for something like fallout 4 that i have played ill explain why i was disappointed

>>he reveals his entire power level
That's the big problem with most people, you're not supposed to just autistically explode at someone who has any type of shared interest. Going full-on retard just because you heard "I watch that one anime once" just makes you out to be a gigantic loser that doesn't deserve the 20 seconds it took to bring up anime in the first place.

It gets worse as you get older, as most people who might have an idea of what exactly you're into are younger and less inclined to not be cringey faggots.

I'm pretty sure you just made that shit up and you're a tranny shitposting at the wee hours at night. Must be past dilation time.

I've never played Fortnite or League either so I avoid those conversations. Pretty based user. For some reason my co workers want me to play GTAV though and I really have no desire to play their Second Life lite: Guns edition game

When you ironically shitpost so badly like this it should automatically post your facebook information so people can track you down in real life.

go back to bed timmy

>See buff co-workers wearing DBZ shit
>Only one of them has seen the original Dragon Ball
Pathetic

Shit anime and shit waifu but chad for taking her out in public

I have never watched SAO.
Thats the fucking thing.
The most I know about sao is from playing one of the games, sao fatal bullet or some shit like that.
Dude starts conversations by quoting anime, then saying "you dont know where thats from, do you?" And then he goes on to gush about it.
He does most of the talking

If I reveal it, it wont be to him

I dont know how people explode like that
Im a huge medabots fan, but youd be hard pressed to get me to drop everything I know about it at once

thing is for any game like that, i point out in simply terms "GTA gets boring after a while" and they ALWAYS agree with me, its like they know its not a great game but continue to play it anyway, i simply say that id rather spend my time doing something else that i find fun

I think GTA has become like WOW for some people, they log on, do the grind, participate in events, but mostly just check in with friends. It's weird.

That was how it was for me I think, logged over a thousand hours in it.

>seen
pathetic

depends if I have a reason of getting along with people I'm talking to
if it's just randoms, no, why would I
if it's coworkers or whatever, yes

Same.
I hardly discuss them while on here, either

>pounds
I aint some kind of amerifat you loser
I was talking kg

yeah, I've learned my lesson.
People don't want to hear that shit, unless you're both interested in a particular niche.
Saying that though, unleashing my power level on the right acquaintances gradually when people give a hint of their hobbies turned them into some of my best friends.
I guess just don't talk to people in general about video games in general, you just get boring shitty normie conversations, and you'll just get more annoyed and feel more alienated.

>playing SAO game
bruh, it's even more pathetic than watching the anime

I try not to talk to my coworkers outside of business related stuff. I don't have any interest in getting to know them and when I leave for the day I basically forget they exist.
I mainly keep to myself since I moved to this city for my job several years ago, I don't have any friends or relationships and I live on my own. I don't really have anyone to reveal my power level to.

Relatable.

Meh, the game was very fun and is only tangentially related to the series.

hiding power level= being racist

i do. dont really want to talk about games irl
