It's looking fairly likely at this point. They'd honestly be smart to do it. They know they can't do the Alliance justice, they just do not like the faction. They need to set up longevity for the game, and they know Alliance players are just leaving the game, Horde players are the only ones still addicted enough to play. So if it's just one faction then it means people who want to play Alliance races will still be able to do content.

The level scaling and gaining nothing from leveling up makes me lose interest in playing before even getting to those mechanics.

Story is shit, racials are shit (only good ones are left behind rep grinds, not good enough to compete with Horde racials), Horde content is polished and done first while Alliance content is often just rushed out.

I didn't know they were leaving but Blizzard sidelined every race that isn't human. They focus too much on the humans and they are all written in the blandest way possible. All their new zones are based around quests given by humans. Horde get quests with trolls, snake men, volpera.
There is some stuff with Tyrande but it didn't go very far and they said she has nothing left do in this expansion.

It introduced spacecrafts, retconnoning characters and lore, killing off characters for loot, and having a storyfocus on the two factions with a joined enemy. All of which damaged warcraft to the point of irreperability.
