Each mission will send you to a remote habitat/location where the cryptid was last spotted. You basically need to figure out their behaviors, track them, bait them, and eventually get a photo of them. After that we could add limitations like how many photos you can take, if there's a time limit, and to add extra spiciness some cryptids could reverse the tide and hunt you instead.
It's an amazing idea I tell you.

The first hour or so of gameplay when you don't really understand anything is incredible. Of course by the end of it the game goes full action but the sense of figuring things out at the start of the game as you explore the map and discover creatures is fun as shit.

The real story is he was summoned by government and political elitists. He's actually nothing special, just a goon demon spawned to replace the exhausting and resource heavy objective of gangstalking someone to insanity. "Mothmen" are just too much to work with and they basically killed the project of summoning more after the first basically refused to do its sole objective.
