Okay, I figured out how to get the game working:

1.) Download the leaked build and extract it somewhere
2.) Download the Steam "Goldberg" emulator from here: gitlab.com/Mr_Goldberg/goldberg_emulator/-/releases
3.) Extract Goldberg and paste its .dlls into MCC\Binaries\Win64
4.) Run the game, sign in with any Microsoft account, and play.

Note: If you want to minimize your risk of being banned / blacklisted from any future flights / insider testing, ONLY play this while on a VPN and use an ALTERNATE Microsoft account that cannot be linked back to your main account.

I like how every gun feels unique and useful in CE. It's also got the second best map design after 2.

I don't understand people's preference for CE's campaign, I swear it's just nostalgia, and I say that as somebody who also started with CE.

There's barely any weapon or enemy variety, and the indoor combat spaces are constantly copy-pasted over and over again, and even the rooms with unqiue layouts are visually indistinct, being empty, barren rooms and hallways. Outdoor spaces are almost all super large empty fields as well, and, again, are visually sterile and lifeless. Not only do they visually look and feel like blatent late 90s/early 2000's game envoirments rather then actual places, they all fucking play the same and force you to engage the enemy the same way due to their samey layouts and geometry, something exacerbated by the game's low amount of enemy and weapon variety; as well as it's minmalistic story which doesn't even provide a suitable context to mask the repetition.

As of right now it is not. It's a listed known issue that the game can't cope with mkb and gamepad input at the same time. Also, while that thing is cool, at least with the G13, ESDF gives you just as many keys excluding the number row, and many more with the number row and function bar. The analog stick would be nice for movement, but a lot of games have difficulty accepting mouse and joystick movement.

What would be frustrating though is if they don't add a way to bump up the draw distance. Especially if the framerate remains limited. If I'm stuck with a 60fps slideshow the least they can do is let me draw everything.
