the winding turns at the end do make it hard, but you don't need to keep USF long to be ahead of oxide. as long as you can keep it until the set of 3 turbo pads you're fine

Start by turning left and going around the outside.
Then turn inward and circle around those crystals.
Finally go back on the center plateau and get all of those ones. getting the one on the bridge last.

Aviator Crash is fucking great yo

Okay so here you go
Go to Tiny Temple, or Electron Avenue.
Two great tracks that if you master it you should maintain USF once you get it.
So on these tracks the key is to keep reserves so at certain points you can avoid drifting.
You need to make sure you get perfect turbos as well but also try and get 3x when possible if not do one left/right then opposite directions as that will maintain SF or USF until you can you do a 3x chain.
Use these tracks to master high speed drifting as once you can do that you learn other techniques like mid air braking which electron avenue is good at learning it.
Your goal for Tiny Temple is to maintain a SF once you get it till the USF pad at the end. Just learn that first learn where you can do 3x slide chains, learn how far apart you can go with 1x or 2x chains
then the next part is maintaining USF till the Shortcut.
You need solid goals you can work at steps, and i found having USF tracks help as they make you go fast as fuck and makes you understand how a character controls and will improve standard driving
Once you master Tiny Temple you should be able to maintain USF from end of lap 1 to finish
For Electron Avenue, take what you learned from Tiny Temple apply to more advanced cornering. Then when you get to two hairpins in the map start mid air braking
Jump, let go accel, brake, press down+right/left and make sure to let go of brake before landing and accel again
once you get it down go to hot air skyway and then papus pyramid
Which for hot air has an extremely sharp hairpin you should be able to air brake around and maintain USF
Papus pyramid teaches you narrow slides near the start
Then Tiger Temple for longer narrow straight sliding

Pretty much all of the CNK maps that have USF (bar Tiny Temple, that one is kinda dull) are fantastic. Out Of Time, Clockwork Wumpa, and even Hyper Spaceway are standout tracks.

Now I can somewhat agree if we're talking about Android Alley or Assembly Lane, long ass boring tracks with little difficulty and not much going on in them. I always hate getting Assembly Lane in multiplayer because it suffers the same problem Crash Cove does - Turbo pad at the end of the track causing massive gaps between those who can and can't maintain SF and little possibility of catching up if you don't get SF.

It has nothing to do with speed, it all depends on the angle and when you jump. You have to be looking at it straight forward and jump at the very top.

Has anyone else noticed that acceleration characters are better than what they "should be" based on their stats? I was practicing Tiny Arena yesterday with a balanced character and I had basically a flawless run on time trial (maintain SF throughout the entire track, no noticeable fuck-ups). I like maining acceleration characters but this time I was using a balanced one since they have higher speed and turning so I always feel like I should start playing with them. Anyway, after the time trial I swapped to an acceleration character and played through the track with minor fuck-ups (such as losing SF briefly at the last turn) and my time was 10 seconds better than what I got with the balanced character. I kept swapping characters and getting better times but even with the best times that I got my acceleration time was 4 seconds better than my balanced time and I just couldn't catch the acceleration ghost with Crash no matter how well I played. This was all despite the fact that the balanced races were essentially flawless and the acceleration races contained minor mistakes.

This just makes absolutely no sense to me. Balanced characters have higher speed so naturally I should be getting better times with them. Not only that but I can pull tighter turns with them and yet still I get worse times with them. Whenever I practice with balanced characters I'm like "Yeah, that went really well" and then when I compare the actual times I notice that my acceleration times are always better. How is this possible? Is the game lying about the speeds of the characters or is there some hidden stat that I'm missing? I don't get it. Has anyone else experienced this?

Turbo Track is actually pretty decent in the remake if you ask me.

but it's the same layout and behavior as the Original, and like slide colisseum it's set in this weird arena that has nothing to do with Crash. sure, on it's own it's mediocre but you needed ALL GEMS to unlock this. the let-down is unreal as you expect something even fancier than oxide station. CNK gave us what Turbo Turd SHOULD have been - Hyper Spaceway.

Took me two tries to unlock Tropy time, beat Tropy first time, then 3 tries against Oxide time
Honestly if people thought that was hard i honestly don't know how they struggle with other times.
I always unlock Tropy time first try and and beat him then Oxide usually takes me two to 5 times to beat after watching him for a race or two to see his line and where he has SF and USF

Not gonna give you the (you) but they are in the same outfit as they were in the original and as they had planned to make them playable it makes sense to not have them as trophy girls at the podium
Would have liked to see new characters or whatever replace them as it was a nice touch to original to see and make it more like a race
