They adjusted the scale of the teams nitro in between yesterday's race and today's. Even though Corgi's nitro is higher than the other's combined, it's weighted effect is lower.

If you want an idea of how all the scales were adjusted, see where they accidentally unveiled it too soon. The two last place teams (Hare, Turtle) were buffed enough that they would have won with their current numbers at this scale, while dog would be just under at its numbers now scaled down.

Today's race operates under these new rules from the start. Tomorrow I imagine there will be yet another rescaling. As Valve said in their News, they won't meddle during a day's race - ony in between them.

The other thing I've learned, is that any game where you have unlocked achievements before the summer sale can STILL give you points. I launched MGSV just now, when I checked out the info on the Grand Prix page, the game was added on the list and I'm about to be rewarded the points for unlocking past achievements. So be sure to to boot a game you've played before and play it for a while to make sure it registers. I'm not sure how much of that stuff is common knowledge by there you go. really? every 1K points i was able to get about 1K tokens, so you should be able to get like $10 from 30K.

See . I think that's how it works. Tested with DMC5 just now. After playing it for a while, the stats on the Grand Prix page updated and now include that game as well, saying I have 33 cheevos completed and +7000 points earned. So run the games you already own for at least 30 minutes to make sure it goes through and you can earn those points. The biggest problem of course is that you can't redeem them if you have exceed the max capacity for the day. Still, you can probably accumulate several discounts before the event ends for good.

This is the problem. On the first day I used TF2 cheevos and that was already the max, having gotten maybe 2000 tokens.

Your boost gauge limit is determined by how much money you spend (100 points per $1USD), your daily handout (100 points every day of the event no matter what), and 500 points for each of those "qualifier tasks" they added yesterday.

So every day, assuming the qualifier tasks refresh and aren't a one-time thing, you'll be able to boost 2100 points.
