I got burned by the codex release of Bloodstained Turns out there was a huge virus hidden in the installer It's already locked me out of security permissions and I can see it replicating itself into all these hidden folders and using tons of resources... It's a pretty insane virus. Even safe mode isn't helping... It also infected all of my restore points.
I found a way to override and get admin permission back, and even that didn't help
I've been trying to save my PC for a few hours now and it's just not gonna happen! Let's hope there aren't any rootkits...
