You guys you guys you guys. I'm pretty sure I just discovered a new move with Nero, can't find it in the movelist and I tried my best to google it but I can't find shit. I'm sure someone else here has done it before and if so I really want to know what the input is because it was cool as fuck. I was in bloody palace and was fairly early on so I was mostly just using basic combos and variations of exceed so that'll give you some hint as to how it is executed, but I noticed during one of my combos I held the attack button and it functioned similar to Beowulf, Nero held his sword behind him like a baseball bat and I was able to charge it up and hold it indefinitely until I let go and he did a more powerful horizontal slash.
I'm aware Dante has his baseball move and I'm also aware Nero has a charging overhead move, but nothing I've said in my description is a typo so if anyone can help me out that would be great.
Also feel free to discuss other hidden moves, it's one of my favourite mechanics in the franchise

Yeah the problem I was having is that the basic moves for RQ don't have videos available for them in the menu and it doesn't actually say you can hold triangle. Thanks bros.

Let me potentially teach you one more trick with Nero. You can Max-Act with his air taunt. Just rev Red Queen as soon as Nero’s feet hit the blade.

Idk, 8 was pretty easy cuz Nero is OP. And I learned that's its meta easy to get S ranks with the no damage multiplier for Dante, and I'm sure it's at least twice as easy to do no damage with Nero because his vortex is so OP. I'm taking a break after DMD anyway

Getting S for the most part is pretty easy outside of Mission 10 and 18 they're both annoying because they force you to fight singular enemy battles that just destroy your score average.

Having no end of level flat bonus style points because it's impossible to kill the boss makes the point requirement stupid high, it's way easier to just take the no damage/no continue multipliers combined for a guaranteed S regardless of how unstylish you are. When you don't gotta be stylish you can just spam your OP 1 button screen clear red hot night hitbox and win its scrubby but effective. I don't care if it's scrubby Capcom shouldn't have made the points on that mission so fucked
