i just bought ds2 for ps4 because it was on sale on psn. i never beat it, and havent played it since launch. it definitely isnt as good as 1 or 3, and it feels really empty because i never see any summon signs, and if i put mine down, i wont get summoned. too bad, co-op is such a fun part of this game.

Deacons is the Pinwheel of DaS3. They're super shitty unless you go fight them when you're poor and they actually pose a threat with the gangbang gimmick
Yhorm is worse than Wolnir by virtue of the storm ruler existing, and Wyvern not even being a boss but more of a stage hazard than Bed of Chaos unless you want to go the autism route

Wolnir was supposed to be in the profane capital instead of Yhorm, and the capital was beneath the desert you fight Gael in, which was supposed to be a level in the base game. You can still see a beach where it was supposed to be in the Lothric skybox, opposite the Boreal Valley. Wolnir was at war with the Abyss Watchers, and the Watchdog of Farron was supposed to fight alongside the Watchers like the giant wolf in Ashes of Ariandel.
