Does this happen to anyone else? I haven't played a game in months now. Am I just losing interest in games?

It happens to everyone dunce. You have an addiction problem and your brain is fucked from over stimulation. Unplug your brain for a week in a log cabin.

your addicted to this place, stop browsing Yea Forums

>tfw wasted almost a decade on Yea Forums being a NEET

this place ruined my life. Though I probably would have ruined it anyway...

No OP but I come here every day and at all times of the day, but I'm not addicted at all. I'll just keep this tab open on my phone until I see a reply. Please reply soon.

>Though I probably would have ruined it anyway...

That's exactly the case. Yea Forums just fills a niche that otherwise would be filled with train knowledge, sexual intercourse with strange women or trapeze.

Serotonin, epinephrine, and dopamine are substrates-supplementable, with huge responses and quickness of production.

Addiction, overall, is apparently a nutrition / fitness / health problem.

Oh man, look at that pathetic thread. You're really a loser.
>Substrates-supplmentable
That dash is incorrectly used, or as you would say incorrectlyable-employeded

>incorrectlyable-employeded

You gotta find yourself a ritual. Gather a handful of vidya that you like to play and replay, likely arcade shit. Make them a part of you, they'll be an exercise for your mind, a mental muscle that you flex from day to day and excel. Stop digging into your backlog of games and marking checklists of one-off completions, trying to catch up to the "fun" of everyone else. Play for yourself, not as a relation tool to dipshits.

This is probably the only genuine response I've received, albeit it is a strange bit of advice. I'll give this a try, though, as well as stopping my use for Yea Forums for a week, at least.

The grammar and English are OK.

Substrates-supplementable is that the metabolites are available OTC.

It's incorrect. It's always incorrect.

>off by one
lol.

The magic of vidya is still alive and well for me. Just have to find your own core values to separate yourself from all the shillery bullshit. Making a 3x3 is unironically a great tool to discover those for yourself. Try the deserted island approach, thinking of only a small handful of games you'd bring with you to keep entertained in isolation. You're likely to learn to build from there over time into something more refined and when you want to play vidya, your mind will push you to exactly what you want to play. And brother, it's a amazing feeling when you're still managing to top high scores years later.

I would switch over to more passive entertainment for your alt tabs. If I'm playing a game, I put some YouTube videos on in the background to fill in the down times. Learn some stuff, get some *deep lore,* find a new subculture of games you may like. If you have a game you're really into, I'm sure there will be videos about it and people's takes or challenge runs, etc. I also recommend playing a game that you can beat quickly, like, two hour till credits, to remember that little feeling of "I finished something!"
But if these don't work, then I do recommend you step away from Yea Forums for a good two weeks or so. Look up website blockers, find ome that lets you block an address for a set period of time, then find other things to do. If you dont like games alone still, then you may be dulling yourself from overexposure to it. Read a book, or watch a TV show from start to finish. I know watching How I Met Your Mother until right before the ending or Fraiser help me feel more positive towards things.
The most important thing is to take some "me" time. Talk with someone if you can about things, but if that's not your style, spend time talking with yourself about what you want to do. Organize something in the house? Try a new food place? See a movie? Something that gets you out and moving, a different look than the routine.
It'll come back. But it takes time.
