now these things aren't for anyone though, and it took me quite a bit to get used to it, but if you think it'll help you execute your shit better, do the same as I did and buy the box and the buttons separately. I bought my stick from aliexpress and it's surprisingly good. the buttons aren't as good though and do a lot of noise, so if loud noise is a problem for you, look for silent push buttons instead

Honestly if you stay in line and pick a beginner character like Ragna or Jin or someone like them, and try to learn the game step by step, I.e mastering all your character's normals and specials before comboing, then you should never find yourself overwhelmed. However if you were to choose a character that is insanely hard like Naoto, rush in, and get frustrated when you cant consistently microdash before you even know the game's base mechanics like Barrier and reversal, then you will 100% get frustrated.

I'm pretty sure Team Red is still working on the new Guilty Gear. Some of the staff there, like Pachi, is working on GBVS too, but they've openly said Daisuke's working on a new Guilty Gear and I expect it to be announced by the end of the year.
I don't think it's getting that much focus, it's just all their advertising at the moment. It's probably their only project that's close enough to release to be advertising.

Barrier is used to get out of really obnoxious close range pressure because it increases pushback when you block your opponent's attacks, but it also increases blockstun so if they recognize you're using barrier they can do even longer blockstrings against you. It also nullifies chip too.

she is generally seen as close to bottom tier, some see her as the worst character in the game. if you are patient and dedicated you can definitely make her work, though I don't play her myself I read that she, with even scarce resources can hit midscreen 4ks (a fuck ton of damage). Again her being bottom tier is not because of her being bad per se, but because she has some weaknesses, and if you can play with your weaknesses in mind you'll be fine

Playing as Bullet also makes fighting Mu12, Nu13, and Lambda a nightmare.
This game is fucking awful unless you pick a top tier.
It's crazy how tiers matter outside of high level, this is the only fighting game where that's the case.

Depends on what you're looking for in a fighting game, undernight cast varies greatly from Blazblue's, there are characters styles from both games that are unique to them, for example there is no character in bb that is similar to gordeau, there is also no character in unist that is similar to nu or naoto in unist. all in all both games are wildly different if you feel that there is a certain playstyle you really want to try in bb such as for example a crazy precise timing character like Naoto then as I said ...do it...

Now I promise you I'm not shitposting, but what's wildly different in these games? Every anime airdasher I play feels the same, and these two are from the same era so they even LOOK the same. You could copy/paste the characters from one game into the stage/HUD from the other and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. What makes the two games so different to play? I legit want to know.

You arent using the dpad correctly. Roll your thumb from down and while holding it down roll to right. Your character should end up walking forward. Just press a face button when you press foreward.

One time I loaded up BlazBlue:Chronophantasma Extend online long after the game was dead and ran into a Bullet that absolutely demolished me. I was playing as Ragna and admittedly it was like my first week with the game, but I couldn't do shit. That's why. Guaranteed that if you were at least 2 months in, or at least knew how limited she was, 9:10 you wouldve mopped the floor with her. Going back to CPEX, I realized how very little damage Bullet did in comparison to CF2.

If you've touched UNI for 5 minutes and touched BB for 5 minutes you already know there's a bunch of mechanical differences right out of the gate, even if you can't even really describe them. You can only double jump with like two whole characters in UNI, barring stuff like Nanase's FF. What do you want me to tell you? If I just list a bunch of shit you won't get it because you don't know what you're looking for.
Bullet was better than CP in CPE, but still not good (and not as fun). He probably just played a lot more than you.

Depends on the character (and your tolerance for combo length). I play Hakumen and despite the gaps his combos tend to have I think they're pretty short overall.

Man I hated how CF turned out storywise and gameplaywise. Overdrive was never a good mechanic desu. It's a top tier lab game though, I still launch it up to do Naoto stuff. I'm glad we ended up getting Naoto in babytag, they did a really good job porting him over.
