I think it's time for an upgrade

I think it's time for an upgrade

>overclocked the fuck out of my 570 until it caught fire
i already replaced it with a 1060 6gb, but i will never forget the fun i had with it

I'm still using a 750ti

550 ti here lads

it's suffering

i got baited into buying a 1050ti thinking it was high end fucking end me

i just wish i spent the extra 100$ on a 1070 instead of a 1060

what's the best aymd videocard for 1080p and 60fps?
RX580(8gb)?

570 or better

same, if i don't upgrade soon i won't be able to play any of the game i'm planning on getting on anything above low settings

I'm still running an HD7850 and a 2500k. I should probably upgrade, but on the other hand there's hardly been anything released lately that I even give a fuck about playing, and I can still play all games, albeit not maxed out at 60fps

That still makes you both more intelligent and more knowledgable about computer hardware than the average poster on /g/.

I just upgraded from a RX 460 to a 1660ti, great card.

Fuck the RX 460, not bothering with AMD again.

amd gpus are total garbage. always had issues with them. their ryzen cpus seem good though

was the 500 series from nvidia the greatest GPU gen?
i think so

What's the Nvidia of these?

Unronically this. There's some russian retard there who claims that radeon vii matches 2080Ti.

>tfw still using a gtx460

Are you me? Honestly it is still doing its job.

I don't see the problem, you can still play most games at 60fps/high settings (not max) for like ~$200. It's a good card for its price to performance.

>i fell for the rx570 8gb meme
JUST END ME ALREADY

he probably cant afford anything better aside a used r9 290 with a blower

>buy shitty lowest end GPU you can find
>it performs like shit
>blame the company that made it
I'll be over here enjoying my Vega 56 that whoops your 1660 Ti's ass for the same price.

I mean yeah it is but i was really expecting to get blown out of the water when i initially got it so seeing it underperform on gpu heavy games left a bad taste in my mouth

amd dropping a new 300 and 400 $ card on july 7th along with their new cpus. wait the week and see what that does, prices seem good for what it claims and it might shift a few nvidia prices

Legit fucking question: Are the 1080 or 1090 whatever the fuck number it is really worth the price? Can you not get the same experience if you dont aim to play max settings on all games? Honestly medium to high is pretty good. I never intend to play on max on anything. Just want to upgrade from my 750 after 6 years

doesn't that depend on the game, dx12 support and resolution, there was a few games bit-tech reviewed that had the radeon vii come out on top at higher res.

maybe you should do some fucking research for dumbass

>upgraded to a 1070 Ti from 970
>spend 90% of the time playing games like ToME and the Banner Saga

AFAIK that shit isn't necessary unless you need 2160p 120hz and all that. Personally I'm content with not upgrading my trusty 1080p 60hz monitor.

I KNOW AND NOW I'M SEETHING

At least you have good taste in games

This is how it always goes with me
>be fine with the current hardware I have
>get to a game where the perfomance isn't so hot
>still tough through it anyway
>decide to buy fancy new card
>but I already finished the high-end game I was playing anyway
>go back to playing older games where it doesn't make a difference anyway.

GTX 1060 6GB, but it's been replaced by the GTX 1660 (Ti)

The 56 is 50 60 bucks more expensive than the 1660ti.

Nope. He's a legit mental case. The worst Yea Forums shitposters are sane in comparison and it's been going on since vega release.

>wanting to pay $100 more for the same thing
lol?

1660 or 1660ti.
