I play daily and it's fun!
I know right!
Battlefield 5, much like Spider-Man, employed a marketing tactic where the response to criticism was outright insulting the players and potential customers. People who gobbled it up are retards who would follow any stick if it had a carrot dangling from it. These games should be forgotten.
Spider-Man insulted people?
the game is nothing like the trailers tho
>tfw no robot arm-fu yet
Nope
Seriously. I love the game. My favorite thing to do is lay down at choke points and mow fags down with the MG42.
>My favorite thing to do is lay down at choke points and mow fags down with the MG42
Wow it's like the battlefield formula hasn't changed in over a decade
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Drama marketing don't last very long.
Your marketing must actually reflect the quality of the product to stay.
For example, dark souls used it's difficulty as the marketing tool at a point it became synonym with "hard games", even if it is comparatively easy to anything released in the late 80's.
Now all you had going for is "i made this game a bit more cringy because i'm part of a retarded idpol cult"
i wish they fixed the bugs
i'm worried they will release bc3 next year to cater for the new generation of consoles and leave bfv to rot
this game has so much potential
you either like it or dont, i dont see the problem
the actual issue is that it was more atmospheric to do that in BF1 than in BFV
MY problem with battlefield as a whole is the weapon balance. There's no way you can kill a whole squad which is infinitely spawning on itself in combat outside of a machinegun. That's broken, and it's why I haven't player a BF game since BF4
Same!
Also on an unrelated note, kill all white men
It has thought it's quite different than the old games. I just enjoy support in this one.
Same, they have a shitton of material they can use and are gonna take fucking forever to do anything. They won't even have Normandy which is gay because the tech nowadays is perfect for that landing along with the fact the scenario in general is a perfect candidate for a grand operation.
sounds like BFV is the perfect game for you, given they fixed that.
it was really oppressive in bf4 and bf1, ngl
but in bfv?
hardcore is the standard
>hardcore is the standard
Yes I'm sure it is with the 1000 RPM guns that we had in WW2 with red dots
wish we had a player count trackers like BF3/4/1 to see just how bad it is
>playing video games with gameplay paywalls ( weapon unlocks )
no thanks user, I have little bit of dignity left
It is really hard to spawn in combat unless they puss out and hide somewhere. More often than not if you do spawn near combat you're instantly killed before you orient yourself or just outright explode from a tank shell. The one thing I will say as a major improvement to the game is the revival.
>Haha yes, I haven't played the game how can you tell
>red dot WAA WAAAAAA
this never ceases to amaze me
the "red dot" sights are prototype ww2 nydar sights that were being tested and ready to go in 1945.
they never saw any conflict, because the yanks nuked the nips twice and ended the conflict before those sights could ever be used.
the tech was already being developed since 1938
>BUT MUH REALISM
just like bf1, amirite?
member the hellrieger?
i sure member
it has around the same players of bf1
>implying
weapons are free, user
250 hours so far between conquest, firestorm and the single player. i actually really liked firestorm and BRs aren't typically my thing, it feels just right, weapon/hp armor balance is good and the pace doesn't feel as slow as pubg or as fast as something like fortnite or apex. it's cozy. wish the pc population wasn't all over the place.
fucking love conquest and grand ops night maps. panzerstorm at night looks and plays so well. the removal of most spotting mechanics was a great change.
>Yeah I just play games where I pay for everything haha!
Should have gone modern.. i would have bought it by now. Not playing these snoozefest ww2 shooters
I’m sorry was there or was there not a Norwegian level where a bunch of real white men were replaced with some yes kween slay woman? Yes or no answer please.
>prototype
That's the same excuse shills gave for battle rifles being in BF1
Firestorm is great, just because the tacticool manner BF has to it in general. It's not gay like Apex and the vehicle shit is pretty balanced.
wait it doesn't work like in BF1 where certain weapons can only be unlocked by purchasing dlc? And those players who have the DLC are playing on the same servers with those who don't thus giving them gameplay advantage?
I'm sorry then
I played the Beta and it felt, played, and looked like an unfinished game. So unpolished, such bad graphics, gameplay was janky af. I’ve never played a BF game as unfinished or unpolished as that one. When the game came out i watched gameplay footage and it looked just as janky as the beta.
And in all the controversy and how embarrassing DICE was behaving, then throw in how this is allegedly a WW2 Battlefield game yet somehow does not come with maps like Wake Island, Tobruk, or any other classic BF map, I cant think of a single reason to buy it.
Plus how the game flopped hard and EA dont want to support it anymore. How many times will EA release an unfinished game them promise to “fix it later”? After BF4 there is no excusing it. The state that game released in was absolutely FUCKED. Is that how it is now? When BF games come out you have to wait for 2 years of updates before theyre non-shit?
every single battlefield game has had prototypes
from the very first game (1942) to the modern ones
there are way better reasons to dislike battlefield 1 and battlefield v
complaining about muh prototypes is not one of them
no?
all dlcs are free
to unlock a weapon you either use company coins (which you earn boatloads of by just playing the game) or do the weekly challenges to unlock it completely for free
>Playing BF single player
Got me there fag but I only played the last tiger which still sucked. No one cares about the single player and if you did play them as long as you have half a brain wouldn't take what transpires as truth. Get over it already
>bad graphics
>battlefield v
Now hold on.
>no wake island no pacific hurr durr
Confirmed coming this december.
>EA doesn't want to support it anymore
Then how come they've planned 6 more months of content?
And probably content in 2020 as well?
>they fix it later
Literally the only reasonable point in your post, which i have to agree with.
It sucks, but it's EA's fault.
And the game is still fun, even if horribly buggy\glitchy.
>complaining about the guns in the game (the most important aspect of the game) isn't a good reason to not like a battlefield game
>all dlcs are free
shit then I guess I jewed myself by buying BF1 instead because pol told me to
yes there was, exactly how a single american fraud pilot saved the whole city of london from a massive bombing raid in bf1, how an italian space marine conquered monte grappa by itself and how a WYMYN killed thousands of sandniggers and destroyed an armored train all by herself.
see my point?
/pol/ doesn't recommend game you fuck
guns are perfectly fine
if you can't stand prototype weapons in a videogame made on purpose to enrich the experience, it's your fault alone
you're the one being autistic about it
both are good games, user
bf1 has a godtier atmosphere and feeling
bfv does NOT have that at all, but it has the best gameplay since battlefield 3
>if you can't stand blatant historical inaccuracies in a war sim you're autistic
I guess that's why so few people bought BF1 and BFV then
bf1 sold like hotcakes, user
it's the most successful battlefield game ever released
bfv was a marketing disaster, people didn't even bother as the devs themselves started insulting the fanbase on plebbit that complained about the out-of-ass personal licenses, which were women in the frontlines, prosthetics, british soldiers with samurai swords\retarded equipment and other assorted shenanigans
guess what, none of that is in the game save for the women models, which nobody even uses.
i wonder why nobody ever talks about all the historical inaccuracies of cod ww2
agreed, needing two people to operate the tanks was a good decision and fuel/ammo amounts is well done. really my main issue with firestorm is looting the sometimes massive piles of guns and ammo when killing other players as well as having a teammate go down ontop og one of those and struggling to pick him up or wait for him to crawl away from all the loot. if there was a loot menu or even a different button for revive only that would ease so much trouble. at the end of the day though it is a fairly minor thing to work around.
how do i become a paid shill?
asking for a friend
bf1 had all it'a dlc for free after a time just like 3 and 4 gave theirs away from ehat i recall. well after launch though
I wanted to enjoy BF5 but the devs themselves literally told me not to buy it.
give it a try when it's like 10 dollars off
and buy a fucking key off a reseller, not through origin
the game is fun, but EA doesn't deserve money
>buy a fucking key off a reseller, not through origin.
does that really make a difference at all? If a reseller sells more keys he will purchase more in the future thus the money goes back to the EA, no?
cod ww2 didn't feel like it had hype behind it after launch, i have a ps4 and pc and next to no one on console bought cod ww2 out of the 50 or so on my friend list who played bo3 for months after the game came out and other cod games like iw and aw. i can't quite put my finger on what it was about cod ww2 that didn't sell people but to me it just seemed so by the numbers in every way. the graphics were pretty but the gameplay looked basic.
>bf1 sold like hotcakes
In comparison to what? BF4? BF4 still has BF1 beat by 6+ million copies and they were 30-40% behind initial sales figures from BF3
SJWfield?
Yeah, it was fun mocking you.
Too busy with Battlefield 4.
reseller keys come from boxed copies
often stolen
battlefield 1 sold almost twice the amounts of copied battlefield 4 did
source: vgsales.fandom.com
Dude the fucking source for that is a clickbait article. You're retarded, BF1 barely sold 13 million copies. Remember when EA's stock prices fell? that's because they were lying about how much their games were selling. 25 million "players" does not equal 25 million "sales"
I accept your concession
